Maybe other states have this problem but as I remember in Colorado, a long time ago, it was not this way?
In Oklahoma, if you purchase a “special tag” you have to keep the original tag. Whats up with that? and you have to keep renewing the old tag and you have to keep it in the vehicle at all times? What a joke. If you get a special tag and it is registered with the Tax commission and the DMV then why in Gods name do we also have to keep renewing and “date tagging” and keep in the vehicle the standard tag as well as the “special tag”….
This, in my hum-BULL opinion, is ancient and ludicrous and extremely wasteful of
