The sun was out today and I got a boost of energy from that, I guess… Got my Raisin Bran down and out to tackle the first project for the day. With the sun bright and the dew heavy on the grass I figured to get the LED lights installed in the motor home. With the east door open to the shop that put a lot of light into the motorhome so I could get all the connections made and CFL’s replaced on 2 more over head lights and finish up the lights in the shower… The addition of one 2X bright light in the shower did the trick and now it is very bright in there… I got all that done before 11:AM…
I headed off to town to pick up a few more parts (needed some special o-rings for a repair on the shower extension arm I had extra and while picking those up I found some replacement flowers for the front bed as a big discount… they had some 4 inch pots of Petunias for $1 so I got 4 of those. The rain and soaking and now sun had killed off the marigolds, and seriously hurt the vinca in the front bed so these will fill in for now… I also went to the BarBQue place to pick up some stuffed backed potatoes with our $20 gift card from attending the CREC meeting..
It appeared it was a bad day to be out as I witnessed the EMT wagon and fire engines in 3 different spots during my 1.5 hour out to pick up parts… fortunately I was not in any of those…
After getting my stuff home and having a bit of lunch on the stuffed potatoes… I got the flowers planted… then, since my daughter called and asked if I was going to mow before the mower got lost I got on that… to mow my place is an all afternoon process… and it was still a bit wet in spots but I got 99% of it mowed and also got out the big Wheel trimmer and got the edges and the back side of the pond dam that is too steep for the mower…
When I got in I asked what was for dinner and Sherrie was passing on that so I fixed myself some hotdogs and opened what I thought was a regular can of Ranch Beans… I really need to wear my glasses when I shop because this can was the Jalapeno slices one and they were plenty hot…
Now that all that is done… I am pooped… so I will play radio a little then shower and off to bed…
