I was tired and way busy.&nbsp; Got into OKC Friday afternoon and then <strong>home<\/strong> by 5pm.&nbsp; Got unpacked in a hurry, grabbed some tickets and off to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.okstate.com\/facilities\/gallagher-iba.html\">GIA<\/a> for a <strong>college<\/strong> wresting match.&nbsp; Just happened that my <strong>team<\/strong> is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncaa.com\/sports\/wrestling\/d1\">now #1<\/a> and they showed it this weekend by putting a solid cap on Arizona <strong>State<\/strong> Friday <strong>night<\/strong> then Iowa <strong>State<\/strong> Sunday.&nbsp; It still is a ways to the finals in March so they <strong>need<\/strong> to keep improving.&nbsp;&nbsp; We got <strong>home<\/strong> from that and I didn\u2019t waste a <strong>lot<\/strong> of time getting in to bed. <\/p>\n<p>Saturday was a slow start but we had a <strong>BB<\/strong> game at 12:30.&nbsp; Too bad the men\u2019s <strong>BB<\/strong> <strong>team<\/strong> is struggling and we witnessed a loss to K-<strong>State<\/strong>.&nbsp; I didn\u2019t get much else done Saturday other than&nbsp; paperwork and bill payments. <\/p>\n<p>Sunday was busy as well with the above mentioned wresting match at 2pm, calls to Dad and other minor things such as checking the <strong>IC<\/strong>-706 and my HRD to make sure they still work\u2026 been a few weeks since I had them on you know.&nbsp; Hopefully I will be back on soon.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Today, I had an early appointment with the Bone and Joint doctor in Tulsa\u2026 Age and experience is only good in some circles.&nbsp; In my approximate circles (back, neck, knees, legs, etc.) it is not a good <strong>thing<\/strong>.&nbsp; I did <strong>check<\/strong> work emails before I left and found that I had an online seminar to attend either today or late <strong>tomorrow<\/strong> <strong>night<\/strong> so I planned to get <strong>home<\/strong> as quick as possible&nbsp; to get that \u201c3 <strong>hour<\/strong> tour\u201d&nbsp; (I fondly remember Gilligan&#8217;s Island but this 3 hours was not as much fun). of changes in our systems and standardization processes.&nbsp; Anyway, I got out the door and on the <strong>road<\/strong> about 7:00AM.&nbsp; Little known to me that about 30 miles of the turnpike was two-lane traffic at 45mph only\u2026 Guess I <strong>need<\/strong> to <strong>check<\/strong> <strong>road<\/strong> reports more often\u2026 I remember <strong>last<\/strong> summer that this happened out there:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/kotv.images.worldnow.com\/images\/15059775_BG2.jpg?resize=372%2C209\" width=\"372\" height=\"209\"\/><\/p>\n<p>And they had taken the entire west bound two lanes from the Hallett tool booth down to within 2 miles of the <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Image-1.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"Image 1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Image 1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Image-1_thumb.jpg?resize=511%2C264\" width=\"511\" height=\"264\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also had bad timing as when I go about half way into this <strong>thing<\/strong> I was facing into the rising sun\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_5085.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"IMG_5085\" border=\"0\" alt=\"IMG_5085\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/IMG_5085_thumb.jpg?resize=519%2C332\" width=\"519\" height=\"332\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Actually this was taken after I got off the two-lane.&nbsp; Not safe to do much other than really pay attention in that section. <\/p>\n<p>Even with all that construction and all the delays I made my appointment.&nbsp; Although I really didn\u2019t have much room to spare.&nbsp; I can say <strong>one<\/strong> <strong>thing<\/strong> they get you in and out quick there.&nbsp; I guess I am doing as well as can be expected for all the abuse I endured of the past years and the Dr. agreed that I am doing ok for my stupidity and <strong>lack<\/strong> of care in my early years.&nbsp; I just have to keep doing what I am doing now and practice a little more care.&nbsp; With that full 10 minute visit I was on my way <strong>home<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp; I again passed through the construction but it was even slower coming back.&nbsp; Some delivery truck was in <strong>front<\/strong> and he was not going to even touch the actual 45mph speed limit.&nbsp; So we sauntered along on our way back west with traffic stacking up behind us.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Once <strong>home<\/strong> I had that \u201c3 <strong>hour<\/strong> tour\u201d I mentioned before.&nbsp; Now that is real entertainment to <strong>set<\/strong> in <strong>front<\/strong> of the computer while someone \u201conline\u201d presents and lectures on Management systems, and what is being done internally to develop, standardize and measure these processes.&nbsp; At the end of that I didn\u2019t have the commitment to do anymore work for the <strong>day<\/strong>\u2026 so didn\u2019t.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>I read a <strong>lot<\/strong> of blogs, emails, magazines and other stuff\u2026 and just wasted away the evening\u2026 it is always good to slide at times.&nbsp;
