I opened up the windows and the vent when I went to bed&#8230;. duh&#8230; forgot it drops like a rock when the sun goes down&#8230; woke up at 1am and shut the window above the bed&#8230; then at 6AM it was 53 (by my thermo)&#8230; didn&#8217;t want to get up at all and knew I would be grabbing some clothes fast&#8230; but sure felt good.<\/p>\n<p>Spent some time catching up the blog, picking up some of the stuff I had not actually put up <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">last<\/strong> night, etc. Didn&#8217;t even get out till 11am this morning. Then it was into town to <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">check<\/strong> for repair parts&#8230; the antenna cable that got pinched&#8230; went to the east <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">side<\/strong> where Radio Shack used to be &#8211; &#8220;out of business&#8221; so no parts there. Asked around, went to the &#8220;true-value&#8221; hardware, two auto parts shops, and the Holiday RV <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">place<\/strong> asking. Then went to the &#8220;hi-way <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">CB<\/strong> shop&#8221; all with no luck in finding some coax ends to match up the broken pieces&#8230; <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">guess<\/strong> I will just attempt a patch and tape for now until I can find the right pieces&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>On our way down town we saw this car<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/box5128.temp.domains\/~ishmaels\/blog3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/P6210010.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"P6210010\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"P6210010\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/box5128.temp.domains\/~ishmaels\/blog3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/P6210010_thumb.jpg?resize=400%2C301\" width=\"400\" height=\"301\"><\/a><br \/>I am assuming it is in the area for the NSRA Street Rod National in Pueblo this coming <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">weekend<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If you like old street rods, this will be the <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">place<\/strong> to be next <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">weekend<\/strong> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=pueblo+street+rod+nationals&amp;hl=en&amp;prmd=v&amp;source=univ&amp;tbs=vid:1&amp;tbo=u&amp;ei=xtAfTKvYGIm1nAeyh4WbDg&amp;sa=X&amp;oi=video_result_group&amp;ct=title&amp;resnum=4&amp;ved=0CDMQqwQwAw\">scenes from 2008<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Anyway, after the failure to find parts we made a loop through town &#8211; <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">last<\/strong> week was Fib Ark so there was some left over boaters but not much &#8211; we then had <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">lunch<\/strong> at the &#8220;eatery&#8221;&#8230; I had the Southwest Burger&#8230;burger with Home fires&#8230;at the Eatery in Salida, CO.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/box5128.temp.domains\/~ishmaels\/blog3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/2010-06-21-12.57.43.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"2010-06-21-12.57.43\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"2010-06-21-12.57.43\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/box5128.temp.domains\/~ishmaels\/blog3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/2010-06-21-12.57.43_thumb.jpg?resize=400%2C301\" width=\"400\" height=\"301\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>oh boy&#8230; and finished off with a ice-cream cone from McD&#8217;s&#8230; then back to the &#8220;mobile house&#8221; for a nap&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>It was a very lazy day &#8211; enjoying the scenery and cool&#8230; But since we didn&#8217;t pack any food to cook, we made a <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">trip<\/strong> back into down town for some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moonlightpizza.biz\/menu.php?ref=fl\">Moonlight Pizza&#8230; <\/a>it was better than the burger for <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">lunch<\/strong> by far and we had a House salad to go with it&#8230; now we have leftover for a few days&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow? who knows&#8230; if we can get up early, we will <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">make<\/strong> a <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">trip<\/strong> to Leadville for some &#8220;homemade&#8221; green Chile&#8230; not many do the homemade anymore&#8230; so it is pretty high on our list of places to <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">check<\/strong> out&#8230; if we can get there&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After the 90 something days last week&#8230; and getting here and it was 90&#8230;.
