I was just going to clear out some pictures I took since my last Sept post\u2026 well I found a few that maybe I needed to post here.<\/p>\n

1.  We are getting a Slim Chickens here in the Springs area.  But back in November on my way to a Doctor visit I spotted the Mobile Truck Slim Chickens\u2026 in the Burger King parking lot? of all places.<\/p>\n

Not sure why it was there but the new restaurant is to be on the other side of Interquest and up a bit\u2026 they needed to speed up some because the place in front of them opened a few weeks ago but this picture was just before opening.  Now you have a very very long wait in line to get to this one.<\/p>\n

They now have highway signs telling people from both directions to go around come up the street behind so you can get in line.  People falling all over themselves over this burger joint?  I would rather see a Whataburger up here.  <\/p>\n

Last night I went out to try and capture the planet conjunction (Jupiter and Saturn).  It was damn cold, standing in the snow trying to get my camera to focus, on a less than adequate tripod and I was maybe 1\/4 mile from the train tracks and damn if a really long coal train didn\u2019t rumble through \u2013 sure makes night focus difficult, but I got a few pictures.  Before I got to the spot I finshed in I grabbed a photon of the sun down behind Pikes Peak and Mt. Herman.<\/p>\n

Then I got a picture of the Palmer Lake Star\u2026<\/p>\n

And My attempts at the planet conjunction.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s there in the lower middle but this was for effect with star in the picture.<\/p>\n

Still blurry but you can see Saturn on the top and a little bit of ring blur and the lower is Jupiter and several of its moons trailing off. <\/p>\n
