Well we made it to the New Year.  Sometimes you wonder if you\u2019re going to but we did.  We haven\u2019t done a lot of anything since Christmas.  Some radio projects, helping do some programming but mostly I have been totally occupied with a new Media Server that my SIL made up for me for Christmas.  A lot of new learning for the software as it is way different than what I had been using\u2026 10 years of missed updates\u2026ha!  Anyway it is a great machine with a lot of space, but it had several issues that I had to ferret out.  One \u2013 It wanted to reboot every time something a little off happened and when it reboot it had to do a parity check\u2026 I also had to load all the saved items from the old machine over to the new machine and then get to where we had access to all of it and clean it up.  so with all that I have spent a week dealing with that.   So for several days I fought the reboot issues and finally a few days ago I found someone else posting an answer that seems to work.  it has run for 5 days now with out a reboot\u2026 <\/p>\n

Early New Years eve morning I took the dog out and we almost got overrun by a \u201cherd\u201d of wild turkeys..<\/p>\n

There were many inside and outside the fence and Bentley didn\u2019t really know what to do. <\/p>\n

New Years was coming and we needed some donuts\u2026 we don\u2019t like black-eyed peas and that stuff so we opt for donuts and of course we had to make a run up to Castle Rock to get those at Sherries favorite shop.  The Donut House.  <\/p>\n

Once we finished there we went on to Lakewood to drop off a \u201cglobe\u201d for GS#2.  He had asked for one for Christmas but it came in late.  <\/p>\n

We did stay up to see the ball drop or ? what ever\u2026 but quickly went to bed\u2026 Whoo Whoo, New Years is not as big a it used to be\u2026 to us.  This past weekend was GS#1\u2019s birthday\u2026 unbelievable\u2026 not long ago he was this bundle..<\/p>\n

Not likely for Grandma to hold this one\u2026 she does get a squeeze now and then but a bit big for the hold\u2026<\/p>\n

He had a small birthday party with only a few friends\u2026 and Sean made the cake..<\/p>\n

Of course they opted to start with coke\/root beer floats before the cake\u2026<\/p>\n

He is one busy kid\u2026 we met them at the Hockey rink where he had finished practice then stayed to be on the ice with little brother as a  \u201ckeeper\u201d\u2026 keeping them in line, after the puck, putting the nets back and the barriers back and various other things.  <\/p>\n

After that we took him to his favorite place for lunch at Fuzzy\u2019s Taco Shop\u2026 then back for the party\u2026 <\/p>\n

On our way out of town (Arvada) I grabbed this while waiting on the train\u2026 Think they have a \u201cbeing number 1 issues\u201d..<\/p>\n

Tonight I was looking out the window and had to make a run for it\u2026 saw this and was maybe a little late but got some color.<\/p>\n
