Well I am not good at being consistent in my posts and just noticed I had pictures saved that I planned to post so I am just going<\/a> to catch<\/a> that up\u2026 <\/p>\n

Being 3 weeks since the last I have forgotten all that went on but \u2026 short story, we were in OK for a couple of weeks\u2026 then back to Colorado for a week to help with family stuff there.  Missed the good game our team played then came back and watched a horrible game?  oh well \u2026It\u2019s going<\/a> to be a tough year it appears\u2026 <\/p>\n

So\u2026 one<\/a> of the games we did catch<\/a> it was obvious the putting the short practice area in front<\/a> of the indoor practice facility was a great thing for kids..<\/p>\n

We were on our way back out west and late afternoon a storm cloud was moving out from the mountains.  Captured this small down burst near Flagler..<\/p>\n

In Denver I made a run to Micro C enter and this thing pulled up in front?  \u201cVarsity\u201d? <\/p>\n

The trees were changing all over\u2026 hoping to make a run this next week for a better look see in the high country?  maybe?<\/p>\n

\"1-SAM_6426\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I did get a little back road<\/a> travel last weekend and we circled up to Green land and across on \u201cNOE\u201d road\u2026 always wondered about that but seem it was named after a rancher up there\u2026 Saw this on NOE road..<\/p>\n

pretty new wood<\/a> tank that I suppose is just decoration but looks cool.. <\/p>\n

Same area\u2026 might be a POLO enthusiast? On up to Larkspur as they were having a fall craft show in the park, nice little show, not much that we wanted or needed but worth the trip<\/a> to walk around..<\/p>\n

nice stained glass stuff \u2026<\/p>\n

\"1-SAM_6430\"<\/a><\/p>\n

nice wood<\/a> stuff, mostly using beetle kill wood<\/strong> this year\u2026 <\/p>\n

In the non-existent town of Greenland there are a couple of trailhead areas this one<\/a> is for equine trailing I would guess\u2026 long parking<\/a> areas for trucks with trailers\u2026 but  the sign says it all so I wasn\u2019t able to leave any of my prized items in the parking<\/a> area\u2026 shucks!\u2026 <\/p>\n

Now this is one<\/strong> you don\u2019t see much\u2026 since there used to be some big ranches in this area they must have had their own rail shipping point at one<\/strong> time\u2026 the collection corrals and loading dock is till there\u2026 find that pretty interesting.  Part of the real old<\/a> west\u2026 <\/p>\n

The mail rail is still used today as it is a major coal route with several trains per day up and down but the siding here hasn\u2019t been used in a long time\u2026 <\/p>\n

This is an old<\/a> picture I got months ago and kept forgetting to put in , thinking it was just the one<\/strong> station in Denver but when we made the trip<\/a> to GJ a few weeks ago I find it is a chain of stations\u2026 great name..<\/p>\n

And that clears out a collection of pictures\u2026 I took a lot more but these are the ones I hadn\u2019t found time<\/a> to post up\u2026 I really need to take way more but keep forgetting to be active with the camera\u2026 <\/p>\n

To my friend CARL\u2026 it just isn\u2019t the same anymore\u2026 although I will never be up to your standard anyway\u2026 <\/p>\n
