Well it is a bit late now as the multitude of those that saw the eclipse<\/strong> and photo graphed it and even made trips to far off places to see the \u201ctotality\u201d \u2026 I didn\u2019t leave home<\/a> as we had a 89.1% total here which is pretty close for me..<\/p>\n

So, what did I see?  well I had to fidget with the \u201ceclipse<\/strong> glasses\u201d but did figure<\/a> out how to use them to get a few shots with my camera\u2026<\/p>\n

This was pretty close to the maximum for us\u2026 as it starts to move over to the other side<\/a> and then back out.<\/p>\n

I kind of gave up as it was backing out.  I had set<\/a> in the law chair<\/a> out front<\/a> of the house for long enough\u2026 besides I needed a snack and drink by then\u2026 <\/p>\n

As I set<\/a> here trying to get these pictures in I am reminded that we live on the ridge and the thunderstorms come rolling through a lot\u2026 and the lightening sometimes is way too damn close\u2026 <\/p>\n

when you see the flash as the crack in the air happens ouch that was close\u2026 fortunate that it was out just enough to not zap me, the computer or anything<\/a> here\u2026 glad also we have underground utilities\u2026 no big poles and <\/p>\n

pots to draw in the spark and share<\/a> it with everyone\u2026 <\/p>\n
