yep\u2026 didn\u2019t do much today either\u2026 I think it is a bad habit?  I did a little book keeping to get more stuff ready for taxes OUCH! and then took off to get the jeep filled up with gas.  I had seen the new station<\/a> down by Walmart<\/a> was cheaper or nearly as cheap as the Sam’s in the springs so I was headed there.  So new it is not on @Gasbuddy.  I suggested it as a new station<\/a> and got filled up.  Since it is a Murphy express I would assume it may have something to do with Walmart? but maybe not.  I run into a lot of Murphy gas<\/a> stations near Wal-Mart’s but find them all over.  My hope is they keep the cheaper gas<\/a> price as I will go there often.  Once done with that the others wanted to meet up at Arlene\u2019s beans<\/a>.  We have eaten there several times and suspect we will continue to trek over to Palmer for some pretty good Mexican food.  It is a really small place and more set up for takeout but the food<\/a> is not the normal \u201cfast food\u201d type.  It is all made fresh right<\/a> there\u2026 They do have seating if you want to eat it there and we did that this time\u2026 while it was hot\u2026<\/p>\n

That was mine\u2026 had the pulled pork (Edgewood) burrito smothered in Green chili\u2026 Don\u2019t get much better than that.  Although the green chili is the \u201cmeat-less\u201d variety it is still pretty tasty.  <\/p>\n

I do have a lot of things I need to get on\u2026 multiple little projects but I am finding it hard to get the strong push to get more than one or two done in a day and surely not going out in 30 degree temps to work outside.  The garage is not heated so I don\u2019t venture out there much either.  oh well\u2026<\/p>\n

I did some searches in the afternoon for desks that would work for my Ham Radio habit but I think I will have to build what I want to fit the space that I have\u2026 so that will wait till it gets a bit warmer too.   I think I will got with cabinet type<\/a> counter tops<\/a> put together on a base that I build to look more like this:<\/p>\n

Think this might work as I can always find those finished countertops at a reasonable price.<\/p>\n

or maybe I can do it with plywood? <\/p>\n

This plywood system would require the top be finished ?   All just ideas at present. <\/p>\n

My old<\/a> operating station<\/strong> was on an old<\/a> door<\/a> put on some cabinet drawers made by an old<\/strong> friend but that door<\/a> was 36 inches wide and my spot now is 28 inches  (about right<\/a> for cabinet tops).  I think I may have to clean it up a bit for this location? at least some false backing to hide most of the wires?  <\/p>\n
