This week had a bunch of activity packed into it.  Locally, Canon City and Florence have weekly music<\/a> in the park.  Wonderful that it cools down into the 70\u2019s or low 80\u2019s by 7pm and you can actually enjoy setting out in the park and listen to various music<\/a> programs.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday we caught the Canon City music<\/strong> and it was pretty good\u2026 Done by Indigo Way<\/a>.  We also had Grandson #3 spending a few days with us here and he likes the park.  I am not sure he likes all the music<\/strong> but he liked this group.  Although he likes the music<\/strong> he gets fired up playing a \u201crun<\/a> around something\u201d game.  At first it is run<\/a> around our chairs then it might be\u2026 <\/p>\n

Later that night<\/a> we had to stop and pick up some things that seemed to be missing from GS#3\u2019s normal supplies in his bag\u2026 <\/p>\n

We did the same thing<\/a> again Wednesday night<\/a> at the Florence music<\/strong> but it was not as much fun<\/a> for us, same fun<\/a> for GS#3\u2026 different music<\/strong> and after the Tuesday night<\/strong> show<\/a> we were a bit spoiled\u2026 <\/p>\n

Friday night<\/strong> I made it to the Ranch Rodeo<\/a> that was kicking off the County Fair week here\u2026 I had been to a lot<\/a> of rodeo\u2019s but since I was never on, associated or in a big ranch<\/a> area I had not attended a \u201cRanch Rodeo\u201d which by all accounts is more like what it used to be when the local ranches would gather and compete against each other in \u201cregular\u201d ranch<\/a> activities\u2026 interesting\u2026 <\/p>\n

The had 10 teams out here and a lot<\/a> of shifting team members for some\u2026 and they competed this time<\/a> in 4 needs as an event\u2026 see link above\u2026 The thing<\/a> I was not prepared for was the auction at the start to price in the teams.  that took too long and my butt got tired but I did stay for about half the teams to run.  Lots of roping, and several ladies were on the teams. <\/p>\n

This morning I made a run<\/strong> to check out another fishing spot and saw an odd set of ?wild ? turkeys..<\/p>\n

I think there was mixing up with the locals here and one got a little \u2026. white?<\/p>\n

Tonight I took in another interesting items.  Saturday nights the local \u201ccoyote den caf\u00e9<\/a>\u201d has music<\/strong> and entertainment\u2026 Tonight\u2019s fare was Cowboy poetry and music<\/a>\u2026 Strange that my weekly or periodic Facebook notice<\/a>, which recently had a feature poem by Susie Knight<\/a>\u2026 <\/p>\n

It was a very good show.  although there always people that show<\/a> up and persist in talking loud enough that you have a hard time<\/a> hearing the entertainment.  wonder why they show<\/strong> up that these things if they want to visit, go somewhere else.  Oh well someone else did get on to a couple of them but don\u2019t expect they will refrain the next time<\/strong> they show<\/strong> up. <\/p>\n

Not sure what tomorrow brings.  But I will be thankful when I see the sun. <\/p>\n
