Well we had a meeting about noon then decided to head off into the wild\u2026 since we had tried a month ago to make<\/a> it to a fine little place<\/a> on Elk Creek and got lost , we figured this time<\/a> we could actually find it\u2026 and we did\u2026 made it to The BuckSnort Saloon<\/a> for a late lunch<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nice little place<\/a> on a narrow road<\/a> up in the hills\u2026 well decorated with dollar bills and names on those bills from those that conquered the trail.. ha!<\/p>\n

We had our lunch.  The menu is not big\u2026 burgers, a steak and smothered burritos\u2026 I got the burrito cause<\/a> I like green chili\u2026 <\/p>\n

We turned around and headed back but took one small side<\/a> road<\/a> on the way back\u2026 I had visited this place<\/strong> a really long time<\/strong> ago\u2026 <\/p>\n

It is till there and I am sure it is much bigger than it was back then as I don\u2019t remember it being so big\u2026 but it runs a long way down along the road..<\/p>\n

and the train still runs\u2026 <\/p>\n

It is a neat little park with lots of small buildings to look at\u2026 complete cities here\u2026 <\/p>\n

That pretty much ended our trip, got back and set out in the cool for awhile \u2026 then got a call<\/a> that our kids (who went to Steamboat) were stuck up on a pass road.  Seems the junk mobile quit them?  got a bad connection or ?  I told Sherrie that they need to know..<\/p>\n

Do not call<\/a> us until you get out and all is ok\u2026and everyone can laugh about your miss-adventures.. We can\u2019t fix your problems from here.<\/p>\n
