I have been driving<\/strong> past this spot for maybe 30 years and this time<\/a> found out it was a mountain peak?  I knew it as Gobblers Knob<\/a>\u2026 but according to new internet findings it is a peak.<\/p>\n

\u201cGobblers Knob<\/strong> is a 4,288 ft. \/ 1,307 m mountain peak near Lamar, Colorado, United States<\/a>. Based on peakery data, it ranks as the 4307th highest mountain in Colorado<\/a> and the 28925th highest mountain in the United States<\/a>. The nearest peaks are Two Buttes<\/a>, Sheep Mountain<\/a>, High Rock<\/a>, Black Butte<\/a>, Eagle Nest<\/a>, and Wildcat Hill<\/a>. I always joked they might be fossilized dinosaur piles?  ha! oh well\u2026 Thursday was a long trip back\u2026 it is just too damn hot and humid in Oklahoma this time<\/a> of year and if you can get out\u2026 why not?<\/p>\n

On our way out we came on this odd occurance\u2026 bought gas in Seiling\u2026 saw this sign and slammed on the brakes, whipped around and found they had a light out\u2026 <\/p>\n

The other side said 1.89\u2026.. but hey just across the road the same company Jiffy Trip\u2026 was 10 cents higher? <\/p>\n
