Before I get too far this is for my motor cycle friends\u2026 <\/p>\n

on to more exiting things\u2026. not.<\/p>\n

Didn\u2019t do much the other day.  We did get out and around, had more green chili for lunch<\/a> and other things but did see this near us\u2026 <\/p>\n

They either are on the move or that tree smells like a hive? <\/p>\n

It has also been rain<\/a> off and on all week out here and the storm views are spectacular since you can see a long ways\u2026<\/p>\n

I had hoped to do some HF radio on this trip, had worked hard to get a antennas set up and all the various things then when we get here my IC7100 has lost RCV and TX between 4mhz and 7.3 mhz\u2026 well that has wiped out the 40 meter band which is the main one I use.  I tried several things even did a total reset but that didn\u2019t fix it so called and guess<\/a> it will go back in for warranty repair before time runs out\u2026 shucks\u2026 I have a friend out here working the OSU geology<\/strong> camp<\/a> so have emailed him and figured we might take the radio out to his site and test it on his antennas on the off chance that it didn\u2019t like mine but did the same things out there but in the mean time we took him to lunch<\/a> and got a tour of the geology<\/strong> camp<\/a> out here\u2026 interesting. <\/p>\n

The camp<\/strong> is a mixture of old<\/a> cabins<\/strong> from over 50 years ago and some new ones that were put in to replace the old<\/a> that were wiped out in a big flood in 2007?  <\/p>\n

And of course<\/a> since the camp<\/strong> is not used a big portion of the year I think the aliens have been there?<\/p>\n

HEy it is a geology<\/strong> camp<\/strong> and they do have a collection of rocks that students or instructors of long ago collected and put on shelves\u2026 <\/p>\n

They have a full commercial kitchen<\/strong> here , didn\u2019t\u2019 get pictures of that but is pretty neat for not much else out here\u2026<\/p>\n

Although they do have a big kitchen<\/strong> and cooks the sign is a big misleading..<\/p>\n

As we were coming out the kitchen<\/strong> into the mess hall this ? lady? was peaking in the door\u2026 came to visit I guess<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I did find the biggest cluster of cactus flowers I have even seen and someone else liked it as well.<\/p>\n

just out side the camp<\/strong> was that old<\/strong> building and further down the road I know of a school house but we didn\u2019t go that way.   I am not sure why the wide spacing of the chairs from the table but I am sure they have a reason?<\/p>\n

Oh and the new cabins<\/strong> look pretty nice, just a ways out of the trees up here and they are very very plain\u2026 like and old<\/strong> church camp, cabins, no cooling and central showers in another building.  Fun stuff.<\/p>\n

I also have no clue about the tent in the middle near the camp<\/strong> fire ring but someone needs to be out alone I think? <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This evening I fixed wrapped chicken tenderloin (wrapped with bacon and jalapenos pepper of course) and cheese filled jalape\u00f1os all grilled , it was real good\u2026 again I was busy cooking and not taking pictures\u2026 need to fix that.<\/p>\n

So went the day\u2026 tours, drives, and rain<\/a> at the end\u2026 <\/p>\n
