Good grief it has been almost a week since I last took the time<\/a> to update.  Not sure where to begin\u2026 we got to Denver  and the snow<\/a> was deep, then melted then deep again and when that was gone we took a little drive Sunday through Morrison and Evergreen on the back roads\u2026 nice day<\/a> out.  We stopped in Evergreen for lunch\u2026 place<\/a> called Beau Jo\u2019s<\/a>\u2026 nice place<\/a> on the stream but not exactly warm outside, although some were trying the outside seating.  Lunch was good\u2026 I had a sandwich and they had a pizza that they say the crust has honey in it (Colorado Style with lots of toppings)\u2026 ?  <\/p>\n

The sandwich was good but a bit<\/a> dry, needed a bit<\/a> more mayo or ?  bread was real good\u2026 <\/p>\n

The pizza was probably better\u2026 <\/p>\n

When I looked this place<\/strong> up it is a Colorado chain or sorts\u2026 worth trying out\u2026 <\/p>\n

I also came across a very very large liquor store in my rounding in Lakewood-Littleton. <\/p>\n

\"SAM_4017\"<\/a><\/p>\n

and it is appropriately named \u201cTipsy\u2019s\u201d\u2026 I think there is a pickles restaurant on the left side?<\/p>\n

So then on Tuesday we left reasonably early\u2026 for retired folks that is about 9am\u2026 when GS#1 was headed off to school. came down bypassing some accidents on I-25 so took 85 south\u2026 driving, I don\u2019t get many pictures so nothing to tell\u2026 got to \u201cThe Springs\u201d in time<\/a> to get one to the Dentist for a grind and seal job\u2026 cracked tooth \u2013 ouch.  I have had two of those and neither was fun.  the rest of use wen to lunch<\/a> at Panara\u2026not near as good a sandwich and over priced but some like it.  The soup was pretty good anyway\u2026 <\/p>\n

Well as you can see on the 21st and up to the 25th it was mostly nice and warm and dry\u2026 then poof we got hit again moving in on the 26th\u2026 looked like this<\/p>\n

Snow showers on the mountains then it moved further and further down \u2026 <\/p>\n

On Wednesday we took GS#3 to get his fireman’s hat like the other two early in the week\u2026 he wouldn\u2019t model it like the others do\u2026 you can almost make out he is saying \u201cno\u201d\u2026 oh well\u2026<\/p>\n

Thursday we went to Florence , got a big lunch<\/a> of green chili, visited with Sis and one of her kids for a while then made a stop at the Canon yarn shop and home<\/a> as the snow<\/a> was coming down\u2026 but it was nothing compared to today..<\/p>\n

of and on heavy snow<\/strong> and maybe a foot or more here today\u2026 warm enough that it is melting good off the roads<\/strong> so they were mostly just wet or slushy\u2026 we did get out in it\u2026 why not?<\/p>\n

Out quest was to make the Black Forest Art and craft show<\/a> at the community center\u2026 I went prepared to get pictures of GS#3 and all the stuff and I did get a couple<\/a> before I got in trouble as they do not allow pictures of their SUPER SECRET ARTS\u2026 looked just like the same stuff you see all over to me?  Was a few nicer Art things mixed in but 90% was crafts you see everywhere but hey it is a secret design they use?  Then when I checked out their Facebook page, hell all the pictures I would have taken are there\u2026 so you can see those top secret crafts for your self by checking the link\u2026 although I do have a couple..<\/p>\n

Outside the building these whirly things were mounted\u2026 in the snow\u2026<\/p>\n

Inside GS#3 and pops are eying some thing that MawMaw is fumbling with\u2026 we did support their cause a little bit\u2026 came out with over $50 worth of \u201cSTUFF\u201d. <\/p>\n

Got home<\/a> after lunch<\/strong> and driving around town finding that a wood shop was closed\u2026 and crashed out most of the rest of the afternoon\u2026 See we are doing such exciting things and watching it snow<\/strong> more than we have seen in 10 years all in 2 weeks\u2026 <\/p>\n
