Ok, we are home<\/a> again, resting up.  We were busy the past couple<\/a> of days and today was just another long drive\u2026 <\/p>\n

Friday we loaded up and went to the Mountain Zoo\u2026 yes it was cold and most of the animals were inside but we slipped into the viewing areas as well\u2026<\/p>\n

This guy was outside\u2026 seemed to be frozen in place<\/a> and ice cycles dripping from his chin? <\/p>\n

Inside they rest of the family was nice and warm and taking tasty snacks from the tourists\u2026 GS#3 wasn\u2019t sure he wanted to get too close to that thing\u2026 <\/p>\n

Outside the Elephant area saw this\u2026 ? could be a giant Elephant snot?  the sign inside said some were under VET supervision?<\/p>\n

They also sold little tongue depressors with bird seed on it so you could entice some of the parakeets to come set on your had\u2026 worked for some\u2026 had to keep a hand on GS#3 as he wanted to grab the bird\u2026<\/p>\n

Friday night we watched the massacre\u2026 seems obvious to me the Big 12 is not in the same stature as the SEC?  enough said\u2026although I have said all season<\/a> we were playing over our head this year\u2026 grateful for 10-3 finish but disgusted we didn\u2019t make a better showing on the tail end of the season\u2026<\/p>\n

GS#3 spent a great deal of time<\/a> at the zoo pushing his own stroller\u2026 he seems to love doing that but I think it wore him out a bit\u2026 <\/p>\n

unlike his Dad he likes mac & Cheese\u2026 and that is what he had for supper\u2026 but at times his arms must have gotten tired?<\/p>\n

It can do some strange things \u2026. like<\/p>\n

Most of us will curl up on our side<\/a> but he can do it on his stomach\u2026 <\/p>\n

The trip home<\/a> was somewhat uneventful, other than some idiot trying to squeeze me off the road coming out of the Kansas turnpike booth?  and they looked at me like I was in the wrong place\u2026 Hell I was in the far right lane and then on the shoulder\u2026 <\/p>\n

One thing<\/a> I did see and have seen multiple times on I-70\u2026 <\/p>\n

Well there ain\u2019t no Stuckey\u2019s<\/a> at that exit and I figured they were all gone as all the ones I remember have been closed for several years but if you look them up\u2026 they say they have 115 stores out there somewhere\u2026 I think something I read said they had over 350 at one<\/a> time<\/a> and sold out to PET Milk and they kind of run it down and closed a lot of them and Stuckey bought it back and started back and is up to 115 but appears mostly in the south and east\u2026 few in TX and couple<\/a> in KS\u2026 ? But not in western KS\u2026 I remember that some of them even put in  clear Bee hives and you could watch the bees from inside the gift shop area\u2026 <\/p>\n

So, not sure what is next\u2026 but will be fun\u2026 <\/p>\n

Outside the Elephant area saw this\u2026 ? could be a giant Elephant snot?  the sign inside said some were under VET <\/p>\n
