I have been busy with cutting cans<\/a> and watching other people<\/a> work\u2026 and various other \u201cretired\u201d activities.  Yes I am real slow lately of updating this blog and making posts but hey\u2026 I am busy here\u2026 <\/p>\n

a little over a month ago I finished up a bi-plane\u2026 single machine gun and neat blue cans\u2026 <\/p>\n

I have determined that GS#2 has been left out of the airplane mix so he gets this one\u2026 since he is moving to is own bedroom he needs ceiling art to match his brothers room\u2026 <\/p>\n

In the process My son decided he wanted a special plane<\/a> made form Colorado<\/a> brew cans<\/a> and picked the model\u2026 a really new one<\/a> with a different build method than the last<\/a> ones\u2026 the outcome is about the same but a bit slower for me as I am not good dealing with gluing\u2026 but I got it done this past weekend\u2026 I think I tore it down and rebuilt it a dozen times to get a finish on it and still it is not as smooth as I had wanted but I am calling it done and maybe the next one<\/a> will go smoother\u2026 <\/p>\n

The special beer<\/a> cans<\/strong> from Colorado\u2026 I was not that into the beer<\/a> so he had to make<\/a> several others enjoy that slightly bitter, hoppy beer\u2026 but hey I did my part and drank one\u2026 <\/p>\n

I did get the logo\u2019s fairly even on this one<\/p>\n

Also added some new pieces to it\u2026 bombs and drop fuel tank\u2026 also had to do some cut, and trim to make<\/a> two double props into a quad prop as I couldn\u2019t find any quads and for realistic appearance this one<\/strong> supposedly had a quad prop\u2026   The things unseen are the printed out and pasted in control panel\u2026 little details are important but a pain at times\u2026 <\/p>\n

in the middle of this airplane I picked up a new can thing\u2026 with the Christmas season<\/a> and all I had see pictures of Can Angels\u2026 so \u2026 hey I can do that\u2026 worked on the pattern from the pictures and then got these made\u2026<\/p>\n

\"SAM_3456\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We had save some old Christmas Coke cans<\/strong> and I had a left over Bush can that has Christmas trees and mountains on it so made some little Angels\u2026 well the wife said that was cute\u2026 so she took some to give away then it turned into\u2026 she needed 3 more then 5 more and I think I ended up making 2 dozen\u2026 or more?  they have been spread all over by now\u2026 <\/p>\n

oh but we still have a few more\u2026 I dug through the old can box and found some Christmas Diet Coke cans, had a left over piece of Colorado<\/a> beer<\/strong> can and have a few more special ones to do\u2026 Note the Santa’s and Polar bears are from 2004 and 2005 Christmas specials\u2026 we saved those cans<\/strong> for airplanes but I think the angles might be a better use?  Although I may have enough to make<\/strong> one<\/strong> airplane from a couple of the years\u2026 who knows\u2026 <\/p>\n

In the midst of all this the Kitchen is still only a partial done project\u2026 waiting on the island and last<\/a> of the counter tops\u2026 , and every night while working on the cans<\/strong> I get distracted with Radio stuff\u2026 Still chasing that final state for the 160 meter WAS\u2026 not hearing anything from the upper far west yet\u2026 along with that we have BB games and Wrestling matches and various other things to go to\u2026 so we are busy people<\/a> here\u2026 <\/p>\n
