We had thunder bangers and flashes last<\/strong> night and rain<\/strong> off and on nearly all day<\/strong>.  Several times the \u201cweather alert\u201d radio<\/strong> went off (that sure can mess up your sleep).  It was not as bad as we have seen before and we sure needed the rain.  as of the picture below we had a little over an inch since midnight\u2026 Some areas seem to be getting much worse weather than we and I was afraid we were not going to get any. <\/p>\n

With that rain, I didn\u2019t do much but play on the computer, and run out to the shop-office to convert some videos.  Oh I did turn<\/strong> the radio<\/strong> on 40meters and listen to the north Texas swap net and a few other QSO\u2019s later but didn\u2019t make any contacts. <\/p>\n

I really need to spend a little time<\/strong> and get the rest of my logs put into HRDelux and get them posted.  I really wanted to be out this weekend<\/strong> in the motorhome but actually glad we backed off that as it would have been wet most of the weekend<\/strong> and windy and cool and just not a lot of fun.  We will catch it a few times when I get home. <\/p>\n

In the middle of the day<\/strong> I determined that maybe it was a good day<\/strong> for a nap.  I seldom do that but maybe it was time?<\/p>\n

After that nice interlude, I worked a bit more on the video conversions<\/strong> and we went to one of our Favorite Mexican places (Qdoba) to get dinner.  I had gotten a 2 for 1 coupon in the email so we got by reasonably cheap for dinner.  The rest of the evening was spent reading and loafing \u2013 it was still wet out.  – WD0AJG<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
