And there was a decent old pickup under there but now they even have to chain the barn<\/a> top in place<\/a> to keep it from tipping over and ruining some other wonderful stuff!<\/p>\n

What would you do if your house had this on the roof???<\/p>\n

If the owner behind us had not gotten so carried away at clearing and cleaning we would see these little fellas coming through our yard\u2026 but the place<\/a> behind\u2026 100 acres, gets mowed every other week, even when it doesn\u2019t need<\/a> it and they don\u2019t put the grass up for hay\u2026 just keep it mowed\u2026<\/p>\n

Currently working on putting some fake strut wires on the wings\u2026 just for looks then put on the cowling and wheels and machine gun and call<\/a> it done\u2026<\/p>\n

Well I got it done (98%)\u2026 I had to paint the prop and will need<\/strong> to put on a nut to hold it in place<\/strong> once dry\u2026 but hear it is almost done (less paint0..<\/p>\n

Next up\u2026 I got some SanteFe Brewing cans<\/a> (checkerboard) and thought they would make<\/strong> great wings on a bi-plane<\/a> like this but what to use<\/a> for the body?<\/p>\n

I am leaning toward the white tango or the blue and gold Hamm\u2019s?\u00a0 but the gold Miller might do ok? It will be the plane<\/a> after the P47 to be done next\u2026 got special cans<\/a> for that one\u2026<\/p>\n

In the interim of all this I was making contacts on 30 and 160 meters JT65 and JT9\u2026 getting maybe 3 to 8 per night now\u2026 testing the new 160 meter loop antenna\u2026 It works pretty good, even on RCV\u2026 the noise is higher than the little mag loop but seems it hears a lot of stuff\u2026 although I don\u2019t get out TX all that good?\u00a0 and the Windom seems to be on the fritz for 160\u2026 won\u2019t tune up proper?\u00a0 haven\u2019t figured that out yet\u2026<\/p>\n
