Nothing big happening here\u2026 but have been real busy\u2026 Friday I had to get to OKC<\/a> for my bi-annual hearing aid check\u2026 that took all of 20 minutes to get them cleaned, get my ears cleaned out\u2026 ( I have a wax build up problem<\/a> with the hearing aids and getting it out is almost a surgical maneuver)\u2026 From there is was back home and put some more time<\/a> in on the security cameras\u2026 could not find why they don\u2019t upload properly and are not recording properly now that I have upgraded the cameras<\/a> so I upgraded the software\u2026 it shows them fine but have not gotten the license yet to see all of them and figure that is holding back the few other things I need (recorded motion)\u2026 the old software<\/a> will be maintained till the new license is approved\u2026 weekends are a problem\u2026 <\/p>\n

While I was reading down to OKC<\/a> I tried in vain to get the heater to work in the jeep\u2026 just blowing cold air?  and it is only 2 years old so what the hell is this\u2026 couldn\u2019t get in the shop till next week\u2026 at least it is not cold cold yet\u2026 but at 49 degrees and 70 mph it would have been nice to get some heat\u2026 We also had to get the Avalon back in today to fix what they broke\u2026 and we had another problem<\/a> jump up just after the dash fix\u2026 no air from the center vents, resets every time<\/a> you start the car<\/a> and won\u2019t work on all the functions\u2026 I had hoped it was something they did in the dash install\u2026 they called and said\u2026 oh no way\u2026 it is a special part way down in there that has gone bad and that will be $1200 to fix it\u2026 HOLY cripes\u2026 both cars with heat\/cold issues at once\u2026 at least the jeep is still warranty\u2026 too bad the car<\/a> had to wait till the extended warranty ran out at the first of this year\u2026 <\/p>\n

Saturday we didn\u2019t do much more than get to the game\u2026 watched our team look<\/a> like \u201cNed and the First Grade Reader\u201d in the first half\u2026 trading scores is not a good thing<\/a> when you\u2019re the one behind and giving up more than you get back\u2026 had a KSU fan down in front of us jumping up (girl) with ever great then they did and bad thing<\/a> we did so she was standing a lot and doing cheer leading and blowing kisses to the crowd\u2026 (cowboy crowd mind you)\u2026 I think either she had too much stimulation before the game or forgot where she was at half time<\/strong> cause she left and didn\u2019t get back till the score was nearly tied\u2026 and wasn\u2019t near as \u201cover-enthusiastic\u201d in front of the opposition fans\u2026 I don\u2019t mind enthusiastic fans but remember where you are please\u2026 We ended up pulling it out in the end\u2026 like last week with a field goal in the last seconds\u2026 I am not sure we are anywhere near as good as we had been rated\u2026but we are 5-0 at present\u2026 although it will be all uphill from here\u2026 (other than Kansas)\u2026 <\/p>\n

Sunday we were supposed to get to Sherries family re-union in Enid but through one excuse or another we didn\u2019t make that adventure\u2026 We did get to Lowes, looked at some tile, since we are redoing the kitchen, but they had nothing of interest\u2026 I picked up some blinds for the garage\u2026 Sherrie has never liked the once we put up (really cheap paper things).  They had the Faux wood ones on sale so we got 3 white 2 inch ones to hang in the garage<\/a> windows\u2026 \u201cso they look<\/a> nicer\u201d.  I got one up in the afternoon\u2026 and finished up the job this morning\u2026 <\/p>\n

This is what was up\u2026 I liked it cause the top let in a lot of light so the garage<\/a> was well lite up during the day\u2026 but it did look<\/strong> \u201ctacky\u201d so they got pulled and all have \u2026.<\/p>\n

These have been put on all three windows now\u2026 with out a step stool you wont be grabbing the strings to open them up \u2026 or at least most wont get to them\u2026 I shot this from across the top of the jeep\u2026 yea the garage<\/strong> is a big and very tall ceiling type\u2026 so the window sills are about 5 ft. off the floor\u2026 not easy for some one to break in to them either\u2026 although the one at the deck looks normal (from the outside)\u2026 <\/p>\n

This afternoon I spent more time<\/strong> on the software<\/a> for the cameras<\/a> and got the license to open it up \u2026 and then reset and reset and reset the cameras<\/strong> so they would recorded for motion and upload pictures but still not as smooth as the old software<\/strong> but they are working ( somewhat)\u2026 probably the operator that is causing the errors? <\/p>\n

Tomorrow they car<\/strong> goes back \u2013 they will put in the part that I had to \u201cPRE_PAY\u201d for (that was a first for me and I was not happy about that)\u2026 and I will have to pay them another $800 for the labor to drag all that stuff out and swap the one part that is broke and put it all back\u2026 <\/p>\n

Tonight I worked a little more JT65 on 160 meters\u2026 it is starting to improve a bit\u2026 picked up one DX call from the Cayman Is\u2026 ZF1EJ\u2026 and one from far NE<\/a> Canada VE1SKY\u2026 so overall not too bad\u2026 just need for it to open up the other way and confirm some AK station..  <\/p>\n

That catches up the small happening here\u2026 I do need to get more diligent about posting\u2026 also need to work some on some family history but it is too nice out and I get sidetracked easily\u2026 <\/p>\n
