GS#1 and GS#2 came to visit this weekend\u2026 it was busy\u2026When they got up we went to Granny\u2019s for breakfast\u2026 eat too much for breakfast and feel stuffed all day\u2026 ouch.  Then they played at the park awhile\u2026 before heading back home\u2026SIL and I made the Perkins car show<\/a> Sat at noon while the Grandsons went to Great Grandma\u2019s house to visit\u2026<\/p>\n

Lot of good old pickups in all direction at this show..<\/p>\n

That would be a really great ride.. classic stuff.<\/p>\n

Then there was the Football game\u2026 what a stinker\u2026 sure glad we let the other team win it for us..,. we were just good enough to stay in there and they were bad enough to screw up every opportunity they had.   But a win is a win no matter how it happens\u2026 <\/p>\n

Sunday, GS#1 had to go back to Granny\u2019s cause the pancakes were really good ( he liked the pumpkin spice special).. another day<\/a> of stuffed feeling but no lunch helped out\u2026 the GS\u2019s left at 1pm, about half<\/a> way through the Dallas game\u2026 another Cowboy show\u2026 since a lot<\/a> of the main players there are ex and current Cowboys\u2026 too bad that they start out well and couldn\u2019t hold on\u2026 oh well\u2026 <\/p>\n

Since we are seniors and get cheap tickets we have season tickets for the OSU theater plays\u2026 they are doing 4 and the first was Sunday so we went to that at 2:30\u2026 not bad\u2026 better than watching TV\u2026 and they did a good job with a small cast.  We came home\u2026 while Grandma was \u201cface time\u201d on her iPhone with GS#3\u2026 she does like her face time<\/a> seeing them\u2026 after a small dinner I went out and played radio\u2026 made my contact with friend in Ohio and then he reminded me of the eclipse\u2026 I had totally forgotten about it and it was about half<\/a> in when I signed off and rushed to get he camera\u2026 set up on tripod and took a few pictures\u2026 interesting setting on the front porch\u2026 with the water feature gurgling along and watching the moon go dark\u2026<\/p>\n

Late to start\u2026 with a small, less expensive camera you can get decent pictures but odd additions for dark shooting\u2026 double moon here..<\/p>\n

The shadow part got pretty red\u2026<\/p>\n

The shadow came from left to right till it got dark then the light could be seen moving around to the bottom<\/p>\n

Here it has moved to lower left and about to start back up\u2026 <\/p>\n

I kind of  gave up just before it was all back\u2026 but was getting more difficult to stay focused and I would have to move the tripod as it got higher in the sky so best to stop when I can and get to bed\u2026 <\/p>\n
