All I have been able to do is get parts, fix broken stuff, get parts, fix broken stuff\u2026 since the lightening strike.  Oh and deal with the insurance.  I can\u2019t complain as they are paying up but every time I find something and turn it in or order parts they get confused and we have to go over the list again and figure out where \u201cthey\u201d are off\u2026   <\/p>\n

So far I have the security<\/a> cameras<\/a> working<\/a> (half ass) replaced one, and took a day to get it programed and working<\/a> on the software\u2026 never figured out why it wouldn\u2019t work at first but it finally came up.  two m more are real fuzzy\u2026 moved two to fill in and ordered several more to replace some that are out.  <\/p>\n

Worked on the computers\u2026 you know, when you get a new computer<\/a> the hassle of getting all your software on the new one<\/a> and making it work\u2026 never works the same so you have to figure out what was missing\u2026 well that has been a big portion of my past weeks\u2026 to say I have too much stuff working<\/strong> via computer<\/a> is probably a correct statement\u2026 I have the security<\/a> cameras, weather station<\/a> that upload to the internet pages, and my Ham radio works off the computer<\/strong> now as I am almost totally digital (instead of voice = a problem of hearing loss make<\/a> voice pretty difficult but the digital is reading and responding)\u2026 At present I am about 80% back up and running\u2026 lot of little things I am changing since the old is gone , why not make<\/a> it a bit<\/a> better\u2026 like the new security<\/strong> cameras\u2026 the new one<\/a> is HD and way better in the dark\u2026 oh well just more stuff to work on for a retired guy\u2026 ha!<\/p>\n

now to some things I have done out side all that\u2026 had to make<\/strong> two trips to OKC.  One for my Colon Dr\u2026 he didn\u2019t even want to look at his handy work\u2026 just asked if everything was ok and that I should come back and have the tests done for cancer pre-risk id\u2026 sure why not since since there is some cancer in the family\u2026 all it will do is justify my yearly visits to him and bi-annual colonoscopy\u2026 most people can go 5 or 10 years with out enjoying that probe but not me\u2026 I have been a regular with him\u2026 oh well\u2026 nothing bad up there , just hemi\u2019s that had to be removed\u2026 maybe it was too much oilfield work?  <\/p>\n

On my first trip to OKC I figured to check out the Rocky Mtn grill,\u2026 they are supposed to have Green Chili there and I am always looking for good Green Chili but what they have is a \u201cpolitically\u201d correct version (no pork)\u2026 hey it ain\u2019t real green chili if it don\u2019t have the pork\u2026 sorry\u2026 and the owner admitted the original recipe had pork<\/a> in it but they had to take it out to suit the \u201carea\u201d non-pork<\/a> eaters\u2026 what?  won\u2019t eat pork?  sorry\u2026 I endured that for 9 years but I am home now\u2026 lived a different life and have no ill feeling toward any type of meat\u2026 the damn Cajun\u2019s taught me that when they can make<\/strong> gumbo taste good out of any old road kill\u2026 Why they even taught me that bait was pretty good eating too (crawfish- or crawdads up here). Anyway his version looked ok<\/p>\n

But to my taste, too much cilantro, was a bit<\/a> bitter with out the meat\u2026 even ground beef would have made it better\u2026 oh well\u2026<\/p>\n

I went to the game Saturday\u2026 as you can tell most of fans were leaving early\u2026 like before the middle of the 3rd quarter\u2026 <\/p>\n

I felt sorry for UTSA\u2026 they couldn\u2019t do any thing<\/a> right and made mistakes going both ways\u2026on the the other hand, our defense is way better than I had figured they would be\u2026 the next few games will tell if they are this good or just played some really inept teams\u2026 ?<\/p>\n

Sunday we made the trip up to Blackwell to wish my FIL (Father in law) a happy birthday\u2026   He was 90 on Sunday\u2026 I sure hope I get to hang around that long\u2026 as be in as good a shape as he is\u2026 <\/p>\n

Tuesday I stopped to get a hair cut and this was out front\u2026<\/p>\n

Some body was not looking where they were going and failed to stop, when the traffic stopped\u2026 OUCH!\u2026 no comment if there was a cell phone involved\u2026 I didn\u2019t see it.<\/p>\n

So that is how it went\u2026 exciting I know\u2026 maybe things will pick up\u2026 or maybe not.  got plenty of project to work on\u2026 need to get the tower down and replace the feed lines and some antennas soon\u2026 maybe? or maybe not?<\/p>\n
