It was a slow Sunday here\u2026 late up, late out, took a small drive through Downtown C Springs and then up to Monument and east to the Black Forrest and then back in to town with a few stops on the way\u2026 getting rested up for the drive home.<\/p>\n

Remember the old days\u2026 the VW camper was always a  Happy Camper\u2026 <\/p>\n

When I shot the Happy Camper, I didn\u2019t realize what was in the far upper right of that picture\u2026 interesting mural on the wall and one<\/a> of the windows was open\u2026 <\/p>\n

The downtown park had a vendor display but again\u2026 a picture with multiple things going on\u2026 look for it all\u2026 I won\u2019t crop it to help here\u2026<\/p>\n

We were checking out some of the booths and this one\u2026. interesting the items for sale\u2026 I like to look at crystals and gem stones but the guys running the booth\u2026 Real Gem Stones\u2026 huh?<\/p>\n

Odd place<\/a> to put your shoe?  or loose it maybe?<\/p>\n

That place<\/a> has been there for a really long time\u2026 I remember seeing that Navajo sign back in the 70\u2019s and not sure it may even be a 50\u2019s vintage thing?<\/p>\n

bad shot through the windshield\u2026 but had to stop to check<\/a> it out, and no, it was actually a store for plan old stuff like home decoration type stuff..<\/p>\n

There ain\u2019t much in down town Monument or what I think was down town but a very very busy Mex restaurant and this airplane on one<\/a> corner<\/a> and <\/p>\n

Train on another corner\u2026<\/p>\n

in the Black Forrest we came on a pottery shop that was open so we stopped\u2026 and found that dog that never moves\u2026 <\/p>\n

Back to town, bought some gas for the start of the trip tomorrow and got some more 505 Green Chili Sauce for making my own Green chili\u2026 and had a bit<\/a> of a time with that purchase\u2026 I got the stuff\u2026 went to the self check<\/a> out register\u2026 hit the start, then put in my alternate number<\/a> for my \u201cmember\u201d card at King Supers\u2026 and proceeded to check<\/strong> my stuff out\u2026 got the jars, then wanted a news paper<\/a> but it wouldn\u2019t scan that\u2026 finally got the scan, paid with CC and got receipt and \u2026 hey it didn\u2019t give me the discount price<\/a> on the chili\u2026 \u201coh you will have to get that worked out with customer service\u2026 well, I got behind a lady that had to cash a big check<\/strong> and that took for ever\u2026 then when I got there I explained that it didn\u2019t take my member<\/a> card number<\/a> and charged me the full price<\/a> \u2026 ok\u2026 so she rang up the jars to give me back my money and then charge me the correct price\u2026 but then only gave me back the discount price\u2026 \u201cwait \u2013 they were $3.99 each so the return to my card should be that price<\/strong> and then we charge out the correct price\u2026 well that required a manager to over-ride and we went through it all again and credited the 3.99 and then I though we were ready to ring them trough at 2.99\u2026 well at that point\u2026 she had to take my phone\u2026 (where I keep all my member<\/a> cards) and run the number<\/strong> in at the other register and then came back and said she gave me 20 points for the purchase\u2026 and that was it.  What about now charging me the $2.99 for each\u2026 \u201cno they now free because it wouldn\u2019t take your card\u201d \u2026 wow\u2026 I like that place<\/strong> other than it took 40 minutes to get it all worked out\u2026 Anyway I got my stuff, and back to the house to rest up a bit<\/a> and read my paper\u2026 tomorrow will be a long driving day, again\u2026<\/p>\n
