Saturday we didn\u2019t get a lot<\/strong> done\u2026 well we did do a lot<\/strong> but that accomplishments are pretty small\u2026 We went to the old Spudnut shop to get the Jalapeno sausage dog for breakfast\u2026 then I had some letters to mail so made it to the post office and since we were that close we stopped to tour the local antique and junk stores near the post office\u2026 <\/p>\n

In the junk store\u2026 nothing of real interest.. although they have a complete set<\/strong> of the Tonka trucks like the ones Ryan had\u2026 Ryan’s are in really bad shape (they were stored outside and got bashed around a lot\u2026 but they want about $30 apiece for them\u2026 so we passed on that.  Next door was the artsy shop where they take old windows and cabinets and stuff and make<\/strong> artsy type<\/strong> picture frames, pictures, improved cabinets and actually make<\/strong> some cabinets and use<\/strong> the old windows and doors to make<\/strong> them\u2026 interesting and some of it is pretty nice\u2026 it all has pretty nice prices as well\u2026 On the other side of the street is the Antique Mall\u2026 I had never been in there so why not today?  We crossed the street and went in and found that it was a consignment type<\/strong> shop with various booths all over the place<\/strong> and on two floors at that\u2026 they had a huge amount of \u2026.. STUFF!\u2026 a lot<\/strong> of it would be classed as junk but some of it is actual antiques\u2026 looking for good homes\u2026 We spent over an hour maybe more in there and did find a couple of things to purchase\u2026 since we are antiques<\/strong> and our plates are near antiques<\/strong> we got lucky and found a matching set<\/strong> of 10 plates, small plates, salad plates and stuff for $50\u2026 they match our set<\/strong> perfectly and these had not been used hardly at all.  Our sets are pretty chipped up and in bad shape so we expanded our set<\/strong> and will take out the chipped and broken ones and use<\/strong> them for other things\u2026 Plant drip trays for one<\/strong> already\u2026 I also found a box of 6 Indian head pennies at a reasonable price so I bought all of them\u2026 But in that mall I also found a lot<\/strong> of of antique signs that would work well today and got pictures of some of them\u2026 those I will use<\/strong> here for fun\u2026 <\/p>\n

We got home just before noon so we did spend some time<\/strong> out\u2026 I had some left over for lunch and then\u2026 poof, took a nap\u2026 strange how that can happen\u2026 When we finally got back around and figured it was dinner time<\/strong> we took off to town again\u2026 nothing exciting but we had a half price deal at one<\/strong> of the fast food places and used that up\u2026 as we finished it occurred to us that we should of gone to Perkins and tried that Mexican place?  so why not go and see where it was and if they were busy\u2026 so we drove down and they were not very busy so not sure they are all that good or not but we will still have to try it at some point\u2026 then , since it was still early we drove around Perkins a bit and then back by the Territorial plaza\u2026 had seen a bunch of cars in there and checked that out but seems they must have had a family thing in the front building that they rent out but there was also some new stuff since we last drove through\u2026 they have added the Yale Train depot \u2026<\/p>\n

and a long car from Canada and it appears they are open during the Saturday afternoon open times\u2026 we were too late\u2026 <\/p>\n

I went and peaked in both and found that the depot was filled with stuff so I for sure will have to make<\/strong> a trip down when they are open\u2026 lots of really cool old station stuff in there and the car looked pretty interesting as well<\/p>\n

I looked it up on line and found they have pictures of it all\u2026 Perkins Territorial Park.<\/a><\/p>\n

Well about that time<\/strong> I figured we could stop at McDonalds in Perkins and get a dip-cone\u2026 they must of dipped it several times as the chocolate coating was really really thick\u2026 but still on a hot day<\/strong> it was pretty good\u2026 then home and nothing much else but watch a bit of TV and work on some of my pictures\u2026 <\/p>\n

Today was even slower\u2026 Curly\u2019s for lunch and spent the afternoon working on machine guns\u2026 for the model airplanes\u2026 <\/p>\n

In a pile they don\u2019t look like much but hope they look better on the airplane\u2026 ha!  once dry I will try to mount 2 on the current airplane and then I can get the top wing put on and start on the landing gear\u2026 <\/p>\n
