Well, it was a school holiday\u2026 Sherrie didn\u2019t have to work so we did the \u201cTOTAL RETIRED\u201d deal today\u2026 and that didn\u2019t include staying in bed till noon\u2026 At this age\u2026 you have to get up pretty early\u2026 sometimes several times\u2026 but today we got out and she had heard that Red Rock had sausage rolls like we had been getting at the donut shops so we went there for breakfast\u2026 well they are twice as big and much better but the twice as big hurts\u2026<\/p>\n

We also picked up a caramel nut roll for later\u2026 once that was done it was \u201cwhat do you want to do?  I don\u2019t know what do you want to do?\u201d  It was agreed that we might run to Guthrie so she could check out Hobby Lobby<\/strong> for some special yarn\u2026 she ran out on some of the Grandsons stuff she is making and needed more then someone else said they liked it and wanted some so she needed more and\u2026 well you get it\u2026 so we brought the extra roll home<\/strong> and she looked up Hobby Lobby<\/strong> in Guthrie\u2026 hummm they don\u2019t have one\u2026 well they have two in Edmond and that is just a bit further\u2026 ok we can go there\u2026 so we headed south\u2026 got to Edmond and found the Hobby Lobby<\/strong> on the very north end and they had the yarn so she bought all they had of the proper die lot\u2026 so then what\u2026 well the weather is cool so what else can we do well, lets go see Paper and More store that Brooke mom has\u2026 ok so we headed on south to that\u2026 did a look around\u2026 nice store \u2026. for women\u2026 then, since so close I hit<\/strong> Sam\u2019s discount liquor , still looking for some special gold cans to finish up the current airplane but they didn\u2019t have any , although they had a black one???? it might work so I got a 4 pack of Scottish beer  \u201cblack stout\u201d\u2026 oh boy\u2026 not sure how much of that I can drink?\u2026 but the cans were cool\u2026 <\/p>\n

Well, we are this far why not try that Joann\u2019s that might have some more of that yarn?  ok, so off we went in search but it was not at the old address we had?  I used my phone and found it was 3 miles further west, so \u2026 hey it was just 3 more miles so off we headed for that\u2026 got there and \u2026.<\/p>\n

But they only had some black yarn not the orange and black so that was out\u2026 leaving there we spotted the 5 guys burger joint and we went through, \u201chey it is noon, what do you want for  lunch?  I don\u2019t know what do you want?\u201d  <\/p>\n

Well in the delay it hit\u2026 hey we are way out west in OKC why not make a run to the Green Chili Kitchen<\/a> and give it a second chance\u2026 maybe they have the air conditioner fixed this time?  so off we went to Yukon\u2026 Just a week or more ago we tried to get some green chili (supposed to be two in the OKC area now) but found this<\/p>\n

And they are still not open so maybe today??? we get a shot at the other one\u2026<\/p>\n

So off we went in that direction and on the way we took Wilshire across to the toll road and found a very unusual Stop sign\u2026 first  I can remember seeing that is \u201caccented\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n

Yep blinking red lights on the stop sign\u2026 you do see it from a distance.<\/p>\n

When we got there they were open and plenty of cars in the lot so we went in\u2026 it did smell good like fresh green New<\/strong> Mexico<\/strong> Chili’s\u2026 and not being versed in their versions we went for the smothered burrito\u2026 should have gotten the stew and salad\u2026 but oh well\u2026 when it came out I had to comment that in New<\/strong> Mexico<\/strong> if you order \u201csmothered with green chili\u201d that means smothered with the green chili stew not just chopped green chili’s\u201d??? <\/p>\n

I can say the Guacamole was pretty good but needed a little more ‘\u201dkick\u201d\u2026 the Salsa was really good not too spicy and no cilantro messing with the taste\u2026 but the smothered was a throw back to non-New<\/strong> Mexico<\/strong> style\u2026 I did get a cup of the stew to bring home<\/strong> and put on the remaining half<\/strong> of that burrito<\/strong> for later\u2026 we will see if their stew is any good as a left over\u2026 cause we both had half<\/strong> of the burrito<\/strong> each to bring home<\/strong> along with about half<\/strong> of that guacamole salad\u2026 My rating is that the food is good, but for New<\/strong> Mexico<\/strong> style it lacks an understanding and is pricey like being in Sante Fe and not Raton or Farmington\u2026 ha! oh well\u2026 live and learn\u2026 <\/p>\n

So after lunch we jumped on the turnpike and get back around to Sam\u2019s and filled up with \u201ccheap\u201d gas ($2.26 vs. 2.39 to 2.75 every where else)\u2026 and then on up the road toward home\u2026 made a diversion off on highway 33 and stopped at the Art glass Emporium<\/a> and had a look around\u2026 didn\u2019t see much more that we did the last time\u2026 actually less as they had sent a bunch of their glass out on a Colorado trip for 7 weeks to hit<\/strong> all the weekend art shows\u2026 We got home<\/strong> and kind of did not much else for the rest of the day<\/strong> till about 7:30 then went for a milk shake as I didn\u2019t want to double up on the burrito<\/strong> today\u2026 then drove some around and ended up at Cousin Mike’s \u2026 caught him in the yard and stopped and visited for a while\u2026 then came on home\u2026 crash out and see what tomorrow brings.. <\/p>\n

Yesterday on my way out I grabbed a picture of a old garage that for some reason I liked the look of\u2026 some great barn wood there waiting for a  project\u2026 maybe\u2026 <\/p>\n
