First up, I got the fire going, cause<\/strong> last night I put a pork<\/strong> loin roast in the fridge after I had put a little rub and marinade on it\u2026 Once it was going good at about 225 deg\u2026 I put the pork<\/strong> on the grill<\/strong> to smoke for 3 or 4 hours\u2026 <\/p>\n

Just getting started\u2026 the rub shows on the fat\u2026 <\/p>\n

I got out and made my 2.5 mile walk\u2026 captured a decent morning cloud bank, but no rain..<\/p>\n

on my way back I came across my little friends from yesterday , you know Bobby and Betty White\u2026they were way down in the yard at the far end of our street\u2026too fast for my grabbing the camera\u2026 when I got home I checked the roast and sprayed in a bit of apple juice\u2026 get a little bark on it that way\u2026then some bran cereal for breakfasts\u2026 <\/p>\n

Then off to mow before the grass<\/strong> grew out too tall and I  get lost in it\u2026 got the front done and most of the sides before lunch<\/strong> time\u2026 then off to pay up my POSSEE fees for next years parking (seems they have moved the SILVER parking way out and most of it is now GOLD\u2026 I got an email that said I was only $140 from making gold so I just went and paid it\u2026 also designated scholarship so maybe my old employer will match my donation\u2026 that way me and the school win\u2026 <\/p>\n

Lunch was at ARBY\u201dS cause<\/strong> THEY HAVE THE MEATS!\u2026 so they say\u2026 I had the new ham and bacon and it was pretty good\u2026 <\/p>\n

When I got home, back on that mower and finished up the back yard and out on the Damn\u2026 found out that once the grass<\/strong> is pretty dry my turf tires slide<\/strong> way too easy\u2026 on the back side (a 2:1 slope) I had a hard time<\/strong> holding position and once it spun one<\/strong> wheel it just slide<\/strong> no matter how they were turning\u2026 so I had to do a lot<\/strong> of angle and carful spinning\u2026 ha! but got a lot<\/strong> of it trimmed off\u2026 <\/p>\n

All the time<\/strong> this morning and after none I would check the roast and spritz it with apple juice\u2026 It was slowly coming up\u2026 <\/p>\n

Almost but not there yet\u2026 it moved from the open grill<\/strong> to the pan at about 4 hours\u2026it was coming up but way slow for dinner so we went for ice cream instead\u2026 <\/p>\n

at about 7:30 pm the roast hit 195\u2026 and I gathered up my my stuff, pulled it off, put it in tinfoil wrap and wrapped that in an old towel and put it in a small ice chest to \u201cREST\u201d\u2026 At a little after 10pm I pulled it out of the chest and \u2026.<\/p>\n

had to take a sample\u2026<\/p>\n

Not too bad\u2026 the knife was dull but slipped right through the fat side and on down\u2026 sliced out a small piece for sample and it will make some great sliced and or  maybe pulled pork<\/strong> \u2026 left it whole for now so we can have a few sliced out and then will either pull or chop some for green chili fixins and freeze that \u2026 I may have to get another one<\/strong> for pulling and chili if the slices are too good\u2026 Probably run to the store and get me a big package of Kings Hawaiian buns for this one\u2026 ha!<\/p>\n
