Lately I have been noticing that we have a lot<\/strong> of camps here\u2026 seems since the first of June we have had some  sports camp going and sometimes 3 or 4 at once every week\u2026 Big groups doing soccer, Basketball, Football, baseball, etc.\u2026 guess<\/strong> we are just getting more important or camps are a good way to get kids to campus for a visit\u2026 <\/p>\n

I got up and hit the road<\/strong> today\u2026 literally I got out and put in my 2+ mile walk before it got hot\u2026 I noticed that in going to the gym, you miss a lot<\/strong> of what is happening around here\u2026 for instance they are building a new condo at Golden Oaks area\u2026 and before that they are tearing off the wall and roof of a house<\/strong> across form boulder creek?  not sure why but looks like they intend to expand that house<\/strong> and attach to the pool house?  or maybe just new roof? <\/p>\n

Anyway got my walk, and then some breakfast and out to do some weed eating\u2026 it is now dry enough to do that\u2026 I also set a post for the NE<\/strong> corner of my planned 160 meter loop antenna.  Will get the supports measured up and holes drilled next week when the concrete is strong enough to test that first part up\u2026 hope it works out ok\u2026 doesn\u2019t have to hold much weight, but some lateral stress due to wire pulling and all but should be ok\u2026 need to get the NW corner figured out how to support it\u2026 ?  With that done I got my self ready and went to town for lunch\u2026 while waiting for Sherrie I noticed a new Suburban driving on the sidewalk between the engineering buildings\u2026 they had to have driven by the library\u2026 when they got to my end they found that there were posts in the way and that they were not on a road, but the sidewalk but they had to turn around and drive back\u2026 thought at first it might be a university vehicle but wrong color and had a Texas tag on the front\u2026 so someone else was lost\u2026 ha! too slow to get a picture\u2026 but did get pictures of a whole big herd of kids\u2026 heading toward GIA arena\u2026 ? Like I said we sure have a lot<\/strong> of camps now and a lot<\/strong> of them are staying several days and spending that time in the old dorms\u2026 <\/p>\n

This was the middle bunch\u2026 there was a bunch just this big already through and more to follow\u2026 <\/p>\n

Not sure what the expression was here?  The group was a bunch of guys (boys) but this?  not real sure\u2026<\/p>\n

Some appeared to be a bit small?  but why not\u2026 ?<\/p>\n

After lunch<\/strong> I got home, picked up some coupons and a list and went to the local Walmart\u2026 always another adventure in that \u2026 today I wanted to pick up some fresh pork loin chops and veggies\u2026 and a few other needed things\u2026 my Daughter was here over the weekend and said we don\u2019t have any food in the fridge\u2026 well yea\u2026 we are older and don\u2019t eat that much and if I buy food like they have to and have the fridge full we would be throwing out more than we eat\u2026 although we do eat out a way too much but on the other hand we do not keep a lot<\/strong> of stuff anymore to go to waste either\u2026 but tonight I cooked the pork on the grill and we have some mushrooms and fresh corn from the Saturday Farmers Market\u2026 we will have some squash and ? maybe Wednesday night?  we still have a free Dads Day Burrito from Qdoba to eat as well\u2026 We find that if we buy one thing and most restaurants we can split it and have plenty\u2026 like today we hit Slims Chicken for lunch<\/strong> and split the 7 piece tender meal and in reality we probably should of opted for the 5 piece\u2026 ?  I was kind of stuffed all afternoon\u2026 <\/p>\n

Just another great day, putting up with the humidity by staying in during the afternoon\u2026 in Walmart<\/strong> for most of it\u2026 I got there, picked up most of what I needed, and checked out the registers as I had more than 20 items (barely) so I picked one out\u2026 then noticed the one next only had one lady there so moved over\u2026 then found out that the checker on that isle was a bit slow ? humm to late to move back\u2026 ok, I am not in a big hurry\u2026 so I got all my stuff on the belt\u2026 the guy got all the stuff checked for the lady and she wanted to cash a check but it was made out to her husband and her ID<\/strong> didn\u2019t match so that didn\u2019t work \u2026 ok, she used her debit card, entered here codes and \u2026 poof\u2026 the damn register came up with \u201cBUFFER OVERLOAD\u201d  I had not see that before\u2026 and the new checker couldn\u2019t get it to clear\u2026 and the line foreman couldn\u2019t and the service desk people couldn\u2019t and finally the manager came over and asked if I would move to the next line and the checker would move over while they dealt with the problem\u2026 ok,   So I got all my stuff back in the cart, moved to the next line and unloaded it all again and \u2026 guess<\/strong> what\u2026 the checker couldn\u2019t open that register cause he was still locked into the other one\u2026 At the same time the lady that had bought the stuff in front of m me was explaining that she had already put in her card and paid and it was just waiting on her receipt but they couldn\u2019t get that out and wanted here to re-check all the stuff\u2026 (\u201cNOT DOING THAT\u2026 I ALREADY PAID\u201d)\u2026 so the manager came over to my line, keyed the machine\u2026 typed in a bunch of codes and then it worked so the checker could run my stuff through\u2026 but when I got all mine done and paid the other machine was still showing buffer full\u2026 ?   <\/p>\n

I was just glad mine worked, I got done and out before the milk and meat spoiled\u2026 <\/p>\n
