Well, we got rain<\/strong> yesterday\u2026 we got rain<\/strong> last<\/strong> night, we got rain<\/strong> today\u2026 It comes and it goes and it comes again\u2026 fortunately we have not had bad weather here\u2026 Did have some strong wind<\/strong> in the middle of last<\/strong> night<\/strong> and again this evening but not so bad it did any damage\u2026 <\/p>\n

This morning I took off to do a little argue, and have breakfast, and mail some stuff off\u2026 breakfast was at the Donut shop\u2026 I like the jalapeno rolls they have\u2026 kind of like Kolaches but these are called sausage rolls\u2026 My focus was to get to the cable office to argue my bill\u2026 damn  if they just keep changing it and the changes are always up\u2026 I was also supposed to get some credits but they have never shown up\u2026 so I took copies of the emails, notes, and last<\/strong> 4 bills to question why my switch part went from 79 to 99 last<\/strong> month?  yes they had to raise the cost of TV but that was only about 5 dollars?  and even at that I cut out the sports additions so I should have gotten a $11 dollars cheaper but it went up $25\u2026 After my argument and copies of stuff I did get some of that back off but no word on my credit due\u2026 ALWAYS GET PROMISES IN WRITING\u2026 <\/p>\n

When I was about to leave their office , damn that thing was big\u2026.<\/p>\n

yep\u2026 14 double \u2013double axles\u2026 and about half a block long\u2026 it took up both lanes on the west bound direction\u2026 no passing this thing\u2026 <\/p>\n

When I did get out I headed up to ,of all places for me, Joann’s\u2026 I needed a much better, very small stapler, for my humming bird projects and found that Joann’s had one<\/strong> that was much sturdier and smaller than my bostich mini- 10\u2019s\u2026 and that one<\/strong> had bit me once too many times last<\/strong> night<\/strong> so it is going out and the new one<\/strong> found works great\u2026 <\/p>\n

I got my stapler home, and immediately had to build another humming bird to test it out\u2026 works fine\u2026 missed getting pictures of that last<\/strong> bird , again\u2026 so damn intent on getting things built that I don\u2019t get enough pictures\u2026 later\u2026 <\/p>\n

This is one<\/strong> of my first copies\u2026 <\/p>\n

I also spent some time trying to get my old 706 hooked back up to use while the 7100 is in for warranty work\u2026 the new 7100 developed a problem<\/strong> with the touch screen\u2026 not responsive in the right places and no way to adjust it\u2026 and it has an audio problem?  so sent it in yesterday and pulled the 706 back out to hook up\u2026 <\/p>\n

Easy enough to get it hooked back up but for some odd reason<\/strong> it would kill the control program on the computer.  At first I thought it was RF getting into the CI-V connection, but got that ruled out\u2026 then thought maybe it was the Com port on the computer not right, so re-set all that\u2026 after much hair pulling and study\u2026 I went back to the comm settings and found that for some odd reason<\/strong> it has reset itself to be RTS-CTS controlled?  The CI-V link and the link to the Signalink is all software controlled and no RTS\/CTS lines hooked up?  so once I unchecked that option \u2026 poof it worked fine\u2026 so that is back\u2026 maybe I will make a few contacts if the storms die down? <\/p>\n

I went in for lunch and we stepped outside the box and had some Firehouse subs today\u2026 I like their hot subs but for one<\/strong> reason<\/strong> or another we never seem to stop or get there and I mentioned we never go there so toady\u2026 that was the option and boy was my sandwich good\u2026 A hot Philly with grilled peppers, onions and mushrooms\u2026 After lunch I came on home pretty quick as I hadn\u2019t gotten the radio fixed and spent a few hours this afternoon<\/strong> finally getting to that RTS<\/strong> problem\u2026 once that was done I worked on some more cans cutting and marking for a few more of the wind<\/strong> spinners\u2026<\/p>\n

I now have 6 of those made as I did another one<\/strong> tonight while working the local ham net on the radio and listening to several others\u2026 Most of these are pretty easy to make up\u2026 just a little time \u2026 The big wind<\/strong> tonight flipped a couple of them off the loops so I reworked that and have 5 in one<\/strong> line tied to the deck railing so they wont take off\u2026 ha! <\/p>\n

I guess it is supposed to rain  or have storms all the way through Saturday\u2026 that means I will have to mow next week as soon as it gets dry enough\u2026 Although I had an appointment for Wednesday afternoon\u2026 Going to get to the Root of it\u2026 not a fun afternoon<\/strong> planned\u2026 more on that later\u2026<\/p>\n
