Seems that is what I was looking for Monday\u2026 Monday was \u201cpreparation\u201d day<\/strong> for a colonoscopy.  For those that have not done that, you are in for a real treat\u2026 I seem to be having more than my share but it is ok as long as they get things fixed and no other \u201cbig\u201d issues come up.  <\/p>\n

Preparation consists of taking enough various laxatives to totally and absolutely flush you out\u2026 along with not being able to eat for about 24 hour<\/strong> (which in my case does no harm\u2026)  The prep this time<\/strong> was not as \u201cnasty\u201d as previous stuff\u2026 but still not enjoyable\u2026 I mixed up a full month or two supply of Miralax into two 32 oz. Gatorade jugs\u2026 along with taking double does , twice, of dulcolax and throw in some Gas-X and finish up with some magnesium citrate\u2026 the last stuff is the nasty stuff\u2026 they can\u2019t hide that it is nasty with flavors and carbonation.  Here is the procedure\u2026 <\/p>\n

1. early mix up the miralax and Gatorade and put in refrig\u2026 (that does help if it is damn cold)\u2026<\/p>\n

2. get a light breakfast\u2026 <\/p>\n

3. at lunch<\/strong> time<\/strong> take two dulcolax\u2026 (white tornado bombs for the guts)\u2026<\/p>\n

4. at 2pm start drinking the Gatorade mix at 8oz per 15 minutes and oh be sure to add in 12 oz. of clear liquids?  (water) every hour<\/strong> beyond the Gatorade mix\u2026 ( hey your going to drink about 3 gallons of stuff here\u2026)<\/p>\n

5. at 8pm take 2 Gas-X (The doctor<\/strong> doesn\u2019t want to blow up when he starts work back there)\u2026<\/p>\n

6. at 9pm take 2 more ducolax\u2026 like the first 4 steps didn\u2019t do the trick? <\/p>\n

7. at bed time<\/strong> take the magnesium citrate\u2026 bloody hell! what a flush\u2026 <\/p>\n

By the time<\/strong> I got to 6pm, my ass was burning sore\u2026 remember you were taking in flush amounts every 15 minutes??? well you have flush amounts out every 15 minutes as well\u2026 and there is no holding anything so don\u2019t even think you can wait for a commercial or take your time<\/strong> getting to the big white orifice\u2026 cause it is coming and you have little control when it is lubed up this good and all liquid\u2026 pinch like hell and it just shoots further\u2026 Oh and bedtime\u2026 ha! I was up about as much as I was down all night\u2026 and just as you slip off to slumber\u2026 you slip off to your shorts\u2026 so after 5 hours of trying to catch a few naps, and 3 extra pairs of shorts and 2 extra showers\u2026 the alarm went off at 4:45 am\u2026 yep\u2026 Doctors like to do these procedures before they go to the office<\/strong> to see other patients so you get a 7am time<\/strong> for a procedure and mine was in OKC about 50 minutes away\u2026 if I was lucky\u2026 by 5am I had slowed down on the squirts but I was really worried I wouldn\u2019t make it to the city by the next movement???? But setting on that end and driving with due diligence\u2026 I made it\u2026  ( I had also packed another set of clothes just in case\u2026 but once we got the preliminary check<\/strong> in I was looking for the relief room\u2026 of course the check-in nurse knows why your there and told me\u2026 use that door over there if you have to\u2026   I had to\u2026 <\/p>\n

Once in the little room\u2026 \u201cshuck down to nothing but your socks \u201c\u2026 yea I know, been there done that\u2026 I think my ass is getting famous as many people has have been looking at\u2026 expect to see pictures of it up in the Dr\u2019s office\u2026 with the words\u2026 \u201cWhat and Ass-hole\u201d\u2026 or something like that\u2026 They stuck some \u201cfeeder\u201d into my hand and after a few minutes wait we wheeled off to the exam room\u2026 The Dr asked some questions\u2026 like he didn\u2019t already know most of it but he has to be assured of the facts\u2026 here we will stick this into your tube\u2026 first hot\u2026 then cold\u2026 ooooooh yea\u2026 \u201croll on your side\u2026no really over and curl up tight\u2026 \u201c and the next thing<\/strong> I remember is \u201cok you can get dressed now\u201d\u2026 <\/p>\n

Even though I was awake\u2026 I wasn\u2019t really awake\u2026 and we got home<\/strong> about noon? or maybe even before?  I went back to bed and got 3 hours sleep in that time\u2026 although I was still pushing a little liquid\u2026 it wasn\u2019t as bad as before and I only had a couple of things that needed to be removed up there\u2026 and solid food for dinner\u2026 oh what a relief it is\u2026 <\/p>\n

Yesterday I was still somewhat groggy?   but I had another Dr appointment?  I had a recheck of the skin doctor<\/strong> having taken a biopsy and freeze job done a month ago\u2026 doing fine on that part as well\u2026 so I am good for another year , unless something pops out\u2026 and in 6 weeks I get to let the Colon Dr take a look at his work\u2026 they always like to admire what they have done, no mater where it is\u2026 <\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t get much else done yesterday other than eat real meals, and read some things, and do some clean out in the shop\u2026 I need to get some LED lights ready and installed in the motorhome so did a bit on that\u2026 <\/p>\n

Today\u2026 lot of time<\/strong> working on a set-up table for my aluminum can cutting with a dremel tool\u2026. I had one 10 years ago but in the move and shuffle in the shop it seems to have been lost? <\/p>\n

I got in to town for lunch\u2026 some fast Mexican to rebuild some of that structure down below that was flushed out\u2026 and back home\u2026 worked on some plants, come yard cleaning, some bird nest removal(sparrows), and bills\u2026 geez they pile up quick? <\/p>\n

Tomorrow I will volunteer to work gates at the Pawnee Steam show \u2026 hope I can hang all day?  shouldn\u2019t be a problem but one never knows\u2026 ha! <\/p>\n
