As you prepare your Motorhome for your next trip, follow these 9 simple tire safety tips:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. When the tires are cold, check<\/strong> the air pressure<\/strong> to ensure it’s within the manufacturer’s suggested guidelines. <\/li>\n
  2. Don’t let air out of a hot tire. Doing so may result in an under\u2013inflated tire when it cools. <\/li>\n
  3. Level your Motorhome, and chock the wheels whenever it will be parked for a couple<\/strong> of days or longer. <\/li>\n
  4. If a tire is punctured, have it dismounted and professionally repaired from the inside. <\/li>\n
  5. Don’t use petroleum\u2013 or alcohol\u2013based tire products.
    This can accelerate tire wear. <\/li>\n
  6. Replace any tire that is over 7 years old, even if it looks new. <\/li>\n
  7. Help prevent ozone and UV<\/strong> damage<\/strong> by washing your
    tires with mild soap and water, scrubbing them with
    a soft brush. <\/li>\n
  8. Be sure to keep your tires covered when your Motorhome is off the road. <\/li>\n
