It was not a big day<\/strong> today\u2026 in fact it was a do nothing<\/strong> day<\/strong> today\u2026When I got up it was cold out and cloudy and just not inviting to get out and do much so\u2026  I got up and made breakfast.  poached eggs (now that they are good your you again) and bacon\u2026 it is always good for you right? We then spent a lot<\/strong> of the day<\/strong> reading and just plain doing nothing\u2026 I researched magnetic loop antennas\u2026 and other stuff of interest\u2026 read the paper and caught on on the local stuff.  Once the skies cleared and it was about 2pm\u2026 I wanted to get some Ham club logo\u2019s I had made to the club secretary so he could hand them out later or maybe this coming weekend<\/strong> when some of the members work the Pawnee Steam Show\u2026 If I am up to it I intend to be there but I have a little procedure to tackle Tuesday so not sure how I will feel\u2026 If all goes well\u2026 I will be ready to get out\u2026 ha! So at 2pm we headed out east to the big city of Yale, OK<\/a>\u2026 I have been there many times but mostly passing through\u2026 I did stop in once this spring and got some pictures of some of the local buildings\u2026 That trip was on my way back from The Geeks day in Claremore<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The buildings are still the same\u2026 the population is probably the same\u2026 things don\u2019t change a lot<\/strong> in Yale\u2026 Once I got the buttons dropped off we started back and figured why not check<\/strong> out the only restaurant there\u2026 well the only one<\/strong> I could see at the time\u2026 it happened to be a Mexican place called Chavez<\/a>.  We were way too late for the Sunday buffet and sorry we missed it , being seniors\u2026 <\/p>\n

I mean for $4 bucks you can\u2019t go wrong there?  <\/p>\n

Well we did order from the menu and the prices are really right\u2026 in my opinion as I am pretty cheap\u2026 <\/p>\n

I got two fried burritos, one<\/strong> fajita beef and the other chicken covered in queso\u2026 and Sherrie\u2026<\/p>\n

Got the Flautas in chicken?  I think\u2026 all this and all the chips and salsa we could handle cost us $15\u2026 but like I said if we had made the buffet???? <\/p>\n

Well, being very stuffed from that we struggled home and flopped down\u2026 not much movement this evening other than I got out and made a few contacts on 15 meters JT65 and then my Sunday contact with KD8IE on 40 meter PSK\u2026 we do that almost every Sunday\u2026 From his explanation I think he had a more exciting weekend<\/strong> than I did\u2026 but that is ok\u2026 I am just preparing for my big day<\/strong> tomorrow\u2026 for all those that have done this\u2026 I am having a colon check<\/strong> Tuesday and tomorrow<\/strong> is the prep day\u2026 Light breakfast, then start the \u201cwhite tornado\u201d solutions about noon\u2026 I will be parked most of the afternoon\u2026 will be really good to get it over with\u2026 Not sure how all the Mexican is going to be coming out??? ha!<\/p>\n

Just to leave things on a more pleasnat note\u2026 I got an attachment for my camera\u2026 I have problems holding it still when it is in full zoom, even on the tri-pod it tends to make the pictures a bit blured when you press the button so I got a remote button for that\u2026 it works but not as good as I had hoped\u2026 although I can get it set on a spot and zoom way in\u2026 and grab a few photos\u2026 <\/p>\n

Not great but hey it is not a great camera<\/strong> and the zoom is standard in the digital\u2026 12.1 MP and max out at 100x  zoom lens and it will do 200 but that is by digital magic and those always are real grainy\u2026 <\/p>\n

I need some more testing\u2026 but someday I might just have to get a better camera<\/strong> with a better lens?  <\/p>\n
