Haven\u2019t gotten much done\u2026 working in the shop on some can bird tests\u2026 not turning out too good yet, need smaller craft wire<\/strong> for some of the parts?  I\u2018ll get it eventually\u2026 It has been off and on rain<\/strong> or cloudy or ? just not good to get out in\u2026 Unless you\u2019re a bird??\/<\/p>\n

Royal Blue , we have several nesting pairs of the blue birds here\u2026 they have been successful at fending off the sparrows \u2026 so far..<\/p>\n

This one<\/strong> hung around for awhile\u2026 see it was dripping when I captured a pic of him\u2026 <\/p>\n

I did get to my workout Friday morning and did some chasing of logo items for the local ham club\u2026 but that was about it\u2026 Today was the busy day\u2026 up early and off to do our volunteer work\u2026 I got volunteered to help with the Remember the 10 run\u2026 we were assigned a water station out front of Hideaway\u2026 interesting that we got to see the \u201cFun Run\u201d and then the halfway of the 10K\u2026 glad I wasn\u2019t in that\u2026 <\/p>\n

Here they come, the fun running crowd\u2026 I might be able to walk that course\u2026 and amazed that some people will do it even with a broken foot\u2026<\/p>\n

but that is kin of like using a skate board??? <\/p>\n

It was some time<\/strong> before the other group (10K) got around to us as they started a little later and our point was 5k into the course\u2026 <\/p>\n

A few of them took it pretty serious and were way out in front\u2026 <\/p>\n

Once this was done we made it top the 40% off sale at the store in the stadium\u2026 I got a couple<\/strong> of new Tshirts\u2026 Sherrie got a new sweatshirt\u2026 not much in excitement but they were also having a tag sale???<\/p>\n

in the practice gym\u2026 all the collected \u2013 excess equipment from nearly all the sports\u2026 some real nice jackets(soccer) and shorts,, shoes, football stuff, etc.\u2026 so we went in and it was an absolute madhouse\u2026 pick, paw, and shove and out\u2026 whew\u2026 Sherrie did find a pair of shoes that fit her\u2026 I got some BB game shorts- of the right size and gave up on the fight and paid and left\u2026 when we got out of that, well, why not hit the craft show downtown ??? it looked like rain<\/strong> so we figured it wouldn\u2019t be too crowded\u2026 this year<\/strong> they had moved it off main street<\/strong> to the street<\/strong> just wests\u2026 I think it is a better spot but the street<\/strong> is in need of much repair??? And about half way through it did come a rain\u2026 pretty hard for 10 minutes or so\u2026 every one<\/strong> huddled under some of the show tents or rushed back to cars (and got wet)\u2026 till it was over then there was a river down the street<\/strong> right at the point of getting into some of the artists places\u2026 but not horrible\u2026<\/p>\n

Lot of the same stuff we see nearly every year\u2026 but each year<\/strong> we might see a few things with a different twist\u2026 horns on the pottery? <\/p>\n

lots of wooden wears\u2026 <\/p>\n

This guy was pretty ingenious\u2026 a use<\/strong> for old wine bottles to make a peacock\u2026 and he had a lot<\/strong> of old gear stuff welded to make animals, bugs, etc.\u2026 pretty neat use<\/strong> of junk\u2026<\/p>\n

The usual iron works with OSU and western stuff\u2026 <\/p>\n

A guy that makes and plays flutes\u2026 all native music\u2026 I bought a couple<\/strong> of his flute CD\u2019s\u2026 good stuff, most of it, for calming and going<\/strong> to sleep\u2026 ha!<\/p>\n

After that we went and stood in line for 25 minutes to get a 5 minute pizza at pie 5\u2026 good pizza but the standing wait it pretty tough\u2026 <\/p>\n

We got home and I did a little this and little that and read the paper and emails and waited for the big storms to happen\u2026 <\/p>\n

Got a picture of this one<\/strong> going<\/strong> up but it was already past us\u2026 it clouded up but at the time<\/strong> of writing, nothing here\u2026 in the warning but nothing going<\/strong> on\u2026<\/p>\n

Couldn\u2019t come up with anything great for dinner so I just got out hotdogs and chili for the topping\u2026 but finished it up with some strawberries and ice cream\u2026 <\/p>\n

setting on the back deck, watching and waiting for some rain\u2026 but was nice and quiet outside\u2026, no constant drone by a TV weatherman\u2026 I like it that way\u2026<\/p>\n

I went back and tried another can bird\u2026 still haven\u2019t figured out how to do the wire<\/strong> for the wings so it looks ok?  tested straight through but can\u2019t hold it in place, so tried some bends in the middle , it will hold but doesn\u2019t look great?  first one<\/strong> I did had separate wires with end loops to staple in and they were ok but still a bit awkward\u2026 figure that if I get the smaller wire<\/strong> it might be easier to handle\u2026 since the stuff I had was pretty hard, even though it is small in size I think it was stainless steel from something I got a real long time<\/strong> ago\u2026 so once I get the smaller wire<\/strong> will cut out a few more and test the wing setup a few more times\u2026 <\/p>\n

I am trying to get something like this..<\/p>\n

but mine have too big of wire, are a little miss-aligned\u2026 but not bad\u2026 just think they could be a lot<\/strong> smoother\u2026once I get some of these done\u2026 the I have a couple<\/strong> of other things to work on\u2026 <\/p>\n

just a busy day and we didn\u2019t accomplish much of anything\u2026 great !  huh?<\/p>\n
