Easter Sunday\u2026 way different than yesterday, weather wise.  Yesterday was sunny and turned out pretty nice although not terrible warm but made upper 60\u2019s\u2026 today it was, coolish, overcast, and somewhat windy that made it feel cold\u2026 WE took in the easter service last<\/strong> night so weren\u2019t pushing to do it again today.  There was a nice crowd<\/strong> last<\/strong> night.  We stayed in for breakfast\u2026 Whopping biscuits and some of that special jam from Pagosa Springs we got a few years ago\u2026 we bought a case\u2026 special strawberry \u2013rhubarb\u2026 pretty good and not too old yet.. I <\/p>\n

I spent some time<\/strong> reading and catching up\u2026 got the paper and went through the latest happening in town\u2026 took about 10minutes to do that\u2026 then didn\u2019t do a lot<\/strong> till Sherrie said it was time<\/strong> for lunch\u2026 oh yea\u2026 lunch so what we having?  We are going<\/strong> to Slims Chicken to try it out\u2026oh\u2026 Being Easter a lot<\/strong> of the places were closed around but not Slims\u2026 so we got in about the right<\/strong> time<\/strong> as there was a crowd<\/strong> came just after we got there and looked like the crowd<\/strong> before was just finishing up\u2026 Never having been there we didn\u2019t have anything to base our order on so we just started out with the basic small chicken<\/strong> strips basket\u2026 They are not terribly fast as it took several minutes to get out order\u2026 <\/p>\n

But they had some TV\u2019s going<\/strong> so we could watch some sports stuff\u2026 not exciting\u2026 <\/p>\n

I can say the chicken<\/strong> tenders were pretty good\u2026 not over breaded\u2026 moist and hot\u2026 the fries were pretty good as well\u2026 oh and yea, I got a few bits before I got the picture\u2026 <\/p>\n

I will have to go back but next time<\/strong> may try the grilled chicken<\/strong> sandwich or ?  but for sure need to check out the daily \u201cfried pie\u201d selection\u2026 I missed that on the way in and caught it on the menu when we were on the way out\u2026 ooops.  <\/p>\n

So nothing else exciting to do for the day<\/strong> since we did it all yesterday\u2026? Got home and back to catching up on some reading\u2026 I get a lot<\/strong> of magazines from various organizations I belong to and they get piled up till I get the hair to read them down\u2026 I got a few knocked out this afternoon, since it was cloudy and cool out that makes for a good day<\/strong> to read\u2026 right?  but not so fast there\u2026 Sherrie said \u201cwe\u201d needed to get those stained glass pieces hung up that had been hidden in the closet window<\/strong> since we moved in\u2026  hey I thought that was a good place<\/strong> for them as since they showed up from the outside?  and I didn\u2019t have to hang them in those windows.. just layed them in\u2026 but oh well\u2026 so I got out the tools, and proceeded to get them (2 pieces) hung in the kitchen window<\/strong> and the north window<\/strong> , not a big chore but the \u201cwe\u201d became \u201cME\u201d.  I got them up\u2026 <\/p>\n

I think we like humming birds here?  but this one required me to take down two made from coke cans\u2026 neat little things that the wings spin on\u2026 so I had to get  a place  for them before they got mashed\u2026 outside on the haning planters is the first spot to try\u2026<\/p>\n

\"SAM_2264\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Just hope it doesn\u2019t scare the real ones off\u2026 or maybe they will try to chase it off?  that might be interesting? <\/p>\n

Last piece in the north window\u2026 hung and out of the way\u2026 although I think this one needs to have the another coat of finish on the frame\u2026 that will be another project for another day\u2026<\/p>\n

Once I got all that heavy lifting and physical work done\u2026 I had to have a nap\u2026<\/p>\n

The day<\/strong> finished up with ice cream for dinner\u2026 nothing else, just ice cream\u2026 and some radio\u2026 just a slow day\u2026<\/p>\n
