Well, here is another of those \u2026. misleading signs\u2026. I put one<\/strong> up a few days about about the dog exercise area<\/a>\u2026  Well yesterday on my way home<\/strong> I caught this set of signs that took me a bit longer to find the other one\u2026 mostly because it was way over and almost falling down\u2026<\/p>\n

Still open and making improvements?  Yep, I can see making improvements and it for sure is \u201cWHAY OPEN\u201d\u2026   but finally caught the other sign<\/strong> off to the right\u2026 way off..<\/p>\n

Temporarily in the south building\u2026 and it was substantially south and a much smaller building\u2026 so was hard to see in the background.  <\/p>\n

Maybe a big sign<\/strong> that says \u2013 \u201cStill here, next building south\u201d<\/strong>\u2026 and then \u201cmaking improvements\u201d in smaller letters\u2026?  all on one<\/strong> sign?  <\/p>\n

Oh well, I am sure the people that go there know what to do\u2026 I hope?<\/p>\n

The weather has been pretty good\u2026 and I have been getting a few things done in the yard\u2026 mostly working on removal of some old barbed wire fence\u2026 and trimming out some trees on the north side.  That along with other small things don\u2019t amount to much but keeps me busy\u2026 got some more LED lights to get wired up for the motor home\u2026 found some cheaper strips lights that I need<\/strong> to fix up and install \u2026 thinking about putting some in the shower area (a dark place) and they are water<\/strong> proof \u2013 made for car lights\u2026  Will see how this works out\u2026 <\/p>\n

As I said the weather was good, good enough to wear shorts, and sandals\u2026 I like that but damn this morning it was north wind, 50 degrees and not so nice\u2026 spring in Oklahoma\u2026 so back to jeans and shoes for a few days\u2026 I don\u2019t face the cold as well as I used to\u2026 <\/p>\n

Yesterday I got my ultra-sound tests done\u2026 this time it was on my neck\u2026 yea , I know some of you thought it might be something else\u2026 ha!\u2026 the heart doctor, who hear is basically my yearly physical doctor, wanted Carotid checks done , I should find out Monday if they are ok\u2026 and the results of the blood tests from Tuesday\u2026 Last night we had a salesman come by\u2026 and we bought\u2026 we had signed up for a water<\/strong> test and figured we were going to get a water<\/strong> softener anyway\u2026 Not sure how Sherrie has dealt with it for 10 years with out one?  So we get it done next week.  Seems the water<\/strong> here is horribly full of lime\u2026 so at least that will be reduced.  Not sure we will ever recover the cost but if it makes things nicer then you can\u2019t always measure on dollars the benefit. <\/p>\n

Today I made it to my workout\u2026 got my exercise in and then focused on financials\u2026 Same old story, made it in for lunch\u2026 we had BarBQue at Cherokee Strip\u2026 then it dawned on me that this weekend is the Elks Blazathon<\/a> BarBQue contest\u2026 oh well, we may have BarBQue two days ion a row\u2026 the Elks things is a fund raiser for Judith Karman so we probably need<\/strong> to go spend a little on that\u2026 After that I got home<\/strong> and spent some time trying to glue a glass hummingbird thing<\/strong> back together\u2026 it shattered pretty bad and I doubt I will ever make it look right\u2026 I am missing a few small pieces but tried to get it done just the same\u2026 as I set a piece , I would then slip over and radio a little\u2026 10 meter was open on JT65 so I was trying to pick up new DX and grids\u2026 maybe some day I will add that DXCC to my WAS plaque\u2026 ? <\/p>\n

With the wind<\/strong> blowing hard, I just wasn\u2019t up to yard<\/strong> work\u2026 I like to be able to stand with out chains and rocks on my pockets when I am outside\u2026 so that was about it for my day\u2026 little this and little that\u2026<\/p>\n
