I should sleep<\/strong> good tonight\u2026 I hope.  I got up and went in for my workout at the wellness center\u2026 got in some weights and about 2 miles on the treadmill\u2026 nice I can walk all those miles and catch up on the news on all the TV\u2019s down there\u2026 <\/p>\n

When I got home<\/strong> I, for some strange reason, got the urge to get a couple of my projects done, or at least start\u2026 well I got out the ladder and got up on the shop roof<\/strong> and took an antennas down that I don\u2019t use there cause there is just too much noise for a vertical on top of my shop\u2026 It works a lot<\/strong> better out away from the house and close to the ground?  so down it came and collapsed it up for storage in the motorhome\u2026 it is my travel antennas\u2026 I hope to use it this summer?  The reason<\/strong> for removing that antennas was two fold\u2026 it didn\u2019t work well with out a lot<\/strong> of radials and I wasn\u2019t going<\/strong> to do that up on the roof<\/strong> and I wanted to put my other Martin house up on the roof<\/strong> for a trail this summer? The Martins spend a lot<\/strong> of time up on the tower and the roof<\/strong> so why not put one of the houses up there?  Will see how it works out\u2026 but I also had to prep it a bit\u2026 clean out and put some \u201cdoors\u201d on so the sparrows wouldn\u2019t take over before the Martins get here\u2026 <\/p>\n

Once I got that done I figured why not get things ready to bury that cable line<\/strong> I had picked up a week or so ago for my coax out to the remote antennas\u2026 get that done and I won\u2019t be mowing the cables this summer\u2026 and now is the time as the ground is still wet and soft\u2026 I didn\u2019t plan on burying it too deep as I may want to pull it back out at some point\u2026 so I got all the stuff ready before I went in for lunch\u2026 on my way home<\/strong> from lunch<\/strong> I spotted this\u2026 some kid is not happy\u2026<\/p>\n

When we were done with lunch<\/strong> I got home<\/strong> and pulled out my tools and fixing and the \u2026.. shovel\u2026 and commenced the hard part\u2026 digging that damn trench\u2026 <\/p>\n

I was only going<\/strong> about 6 inches deep with the conduit so it was about one full shovel<\/strong> deep for that\u2026 <\/p>\n

Got the first section dug, and pipe in and covered back over\u2026   It has to be about 160 ft out to that antennas way down between those two trees as the first section of conduit was 110 ft, according to teh guy I got it from and that only put me part way\u2026<\/p>\n

At the bottom (where it starts back up the other side) is where I had to splice on another section of conduit but I got it all dug here and starting to do some more cover..<\/p>\n

The end at the shop\u2026 with inner tube seal\u2026 <\/p>\n

The piece at the antennas with a \u201cT\u201d box and riser to the post and the inner tube seal on the e4nd lines up the post\u2026 all tied back in and tested that it is working\u2026 I put in a T box in case I want to add some more line<\/strong> further out to the edge of the property and get further away from the homes and noise\u2026 but for now this is the end point\u2026 <\/p>\n

I finished that all up at about 5:45\u2026 got my tools put away and went in \u2026. to fix dinner.. nothing exciting\u2026 spaghetti with meat sauce.  Got that all down and went out to play radio\u2026 make<\/strong> sure it is working ok\u2026 I don\u2019t expect it to be any different than before, just wanted to make<\/strong> sure I didn\u2019t unfix something\u2026 I can do that sometimes\u2026 <\/p>\n

So it was a hands on labor intensive day\u2026 I hope to sleep<\/strong> well tonight and not end up with more pains than gains\u2026 ha!<\/p>\n
