Yep , my Dad use to accuse us kids of piddling along\u2026 which meant that we were not getting anything done and what we were doing was real slow\u2026 that was today!<\/p>\n

With that said I can list all the small things I did and some would think I did a lot\u2026 (but not many).  I did start a bit<\/strong> slow.  My breakfast was peach yogurt, cranberry\/grape juice and a oat bar.  I folded the towels I washed yesteray, and folded the main load I washed last night then put in another load and got that going (my hoodie was pretty bad).  I went out to radio while the cleaning lady was here but the bands were near dead?  now this is dead when I go to 20 meter and see this on the weak signal bands\u2026 <\/p>\n

normally you can\u2019t find a spot to get in on that band? and this was my spots for 30 minutes in the afternoon\u2026<\/p>\n

That\u2019s pretty bad\u2026 so it wasn\u2019t a day to play radio\u2026 and the morning wind and temps in the low 50\u2019s it wasn\u2019t fun to be out side, although afternoon<\/strong> it got much better and I got out\u2026 <\/p>\n

I made my trip in for lunch\u2026 nothing exciting there except it is lunch with Sherrie\u2026 but one<\/strong> couldn\u2019t tell that either as we don\u2019t talk much except during the ride to\u2026 \u201cwhere you want to go\u201d"?\u2019 \u201c I don\u2019t care where do you want to go?\u201d is the major topic\u2026 <\/p>\n

Once home I started another load of laundry\u2026 and started dinner.  Making green chili from some smoked pulled pork butt and the necessary stuff to make it GREEN\u2026 hey it was St Patrick day and Green is great for your health too?  well, probably not so much green chili but it works for me\u2026 so here it all goes in to the pot\u2026 gonna slow cook it so the chili gets into the pork butt\u2026 it\u2019s all about flavor\u2026 <\/p>\n

The ingredients\u2026 into the pot and simmer for about 4 hours\u2026 I also add about 2\/3 jar of water\u2026 <\/p>\n

So once that was all started I did some antennas work outside\u2026 <\/p>\n

I have laid out my conduit for the coax to run in\u2026 but am waiting a bit<\/strong> \u2026 a little more rain<\/strong> and the ground should be real soft.  I only want to bury it enough so I can mow over it\u2026 I also had to come up with a way to seal off the ends, keep rain<\/strong> and varmints out\u2026 so \u2026. a bicycle inner tube cut and folded back with a hose<\/strong> clamp will do that trick nice \u2026 once the coax and lines are in I can just move the hose<\/strong> clamp up and put in maybe some styrofoam pices and squeeze on that?  but it is sealed off\u2026 only the little bugs and they don\u2019t count\u2026 <\/p>\n

Next I needed to re-align my mag loop and raise it up a bit<\/strong> off the post\u2026 I found a longer conduit so am trying it for now..<\/p>\n

This one<\/strong> is only about 1 ft longer\u2026 I may go with one<\/strong> that is 2 ft longer if I move the loop\u2026 and for that I may move it to the farther post<\/strong> that had a blue bird house on it but first I wanted to move that post<\/strong> to the middle of the dam (make it easier to mow around and turn the bird house so I can spot the opening from the house\u2026 watch for invading sparrows that way\u2026 <\/p>\n

Speaking of those\u2026 I noticed some working into the Blue Bird boxes on either side<\/strong> of the front yard so I set traps and within 10 minutes I had two sparrows\u2026 they went to the happy hunting ground and the traps removed till I see more invaders\u2026 then\u2026 it was about time for dinner<\/strong> and \u2026<\/p>\n

The finished product\u2026 bean-cheese burritos smothered in green chili\u2026 not bad for a tuesday\u2026 <\/p>\n

See it sounds like a lot<\/strong> when you string it all out\u2026 but not much to show for it\u2026 other than a full belly\u2026 !  clean clothes\u2026 and ready and prepped for blue-bird watching\u2026 <\/p>\n
