When I first started <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>college<\/strong> I wanted to be a psychologist. I read every book on psychology. In Psych 101 I got a D- on my first exam, which was graded on a curve. Apparently the other 2000 kids in the class had access to older exams which were stored at all the fraternities and the professor never changed the exams. I had to ultimately drop Psych as a major. My dad said, \u201cwhy do you want to major in Psychology anyway. Girls won\u2019t like you because you won\u2019t <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>make<\/strong> any money as a psychologist.\u201d I said, \u201cbut then I\u2019ll never know if the <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>girls<\/strong> like me for money or not?\u201d And he said, \u201cGirls won\u2019t like you because you have money. They\u2019ll like you because YOU ARE THE KIND OF GUY who can <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>make<\/strong> a lot of money.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>your kids are <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>going<\/strong> to <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>make<\/strong> connections with other like-minded individuals (<strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>people<\/strong> focused on drugs, socialism, sex 24 hours a <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>day<\/strong> (not a bad thing), <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>people<\/strong> cheating on exams, and <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>people<\/strong> with rich <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>parents<\/strong> who will help your kids get <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>jobs<\/strong> at Goldman Sachs).<\/li>\n<li>your kids are <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>going<\/strong> to think they are smarter than you almost immediately.<\/li>\n<li>while you are working 60 hours a week and borrowing money to send your kids to college, your kids will be sleeping good chunks of the day, relaxing on the weekends, and enjoying the blissful pleasures of the lazy life for another four years until the real world hits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I sure missed out on some stuff having gone to college a long time ago&#8230; ? -WD0AJG<\/p>\n<p>pulled from :<\/p>\n<p> 10 More Reasons Why Parents Should Not Send Their Kids to College <\/p>\n<p>Parents are scammed.
