I will say I was sick and that is why no posts this week\u2026 <\/p>\n

During my big activity on Monday<\/a> I was having a huge amount of sinus drainage? I didn\u2019t give it a lot<\/strong> of thought but looking back I figure it was a warning sign of things to come\u2026  I felt ok when I headed to bed on MOnday night but the drainage was so bad I couldn\u2019t sleep\u2026 so I just drifted in and out\u2026 A lot<\/strong> of that due to the fact that I was coughing a lot\u2026 Well, Tuesday morning came and I was wasted, felt horrible, and totally congested\u2026 Now that it is mostly over, I wish I had gotten on the Mucinex early as well as bumped up the Vitamin C\u2019s\u2026 but just didn\u2019t project it being that bad\u2026 so Tuesday I fell asleep in the chair just after breakfast\u2026 then after lunch<\/strong> and I got home to read the mail\u2026poof out again\u2026 but still so tired I felt horrible.  I went to bed very early Tuesday night but with some precautions, although I did cough a lot<\/strong> it wasn\u2019t like before\u2026 Wednesday was not much better just dragging around getting a few small chores done\u2026 Thursday I felt a little better, got most of the stuff ready for the \u201ctrip\u201d and figured I might just be able to make \u201cthe trip\u201d\u2026 I am not sure what my \u201csick\u2019 was \u2026 could have been an outbreak of allergy attach since the tree pollen was real high, or could have been a cold that didn\u2019t last<\/strong> long or maybe a really short spot of flu?  in any case it was pretty short? <\/p>\n

Friday morning the alarm went off and I thought it was about 5 hours too early\u2026 but got up and got things packed, and we were off at a reasonable hour for the long drive\u2026 As normal we stopped in Perry for breakfast\u2026 On this long tirp we tend to stop at McD\u2019s for biscuits and the big drinks (I get unsweet tea so it will last<\/strong> me till??? \u2013 potty break)\u2026 We rolled into Salina about 10:30AM and got filled up at Sams club\u2026 they generally have the cheapest gas<\/strong> and are just a little off the I-135 before we get to I-70. <\/p>\n

passed a full set<\/strong> of three of these and each one<\/strong> had a full set<\/strong> of \u201cescort\u201d cars with lights\u2026 <\/p>\n

From there it was west on 70\u2026 and got to Hayes for lunch\u2026 Tried a different spot  today for lunch\u2026 Taco Grande\u2026 we have stopped at Qdoba, Arby\u2019s and various other places but today we went on down and tried this little spot\u2026 They served a pretty good Taco Burger and it was on sale today so I came out ok on that one<\/strong> as well\u2026 <\/p>\n

Our route runs on west and in Colby I figured I better get gas<\/strong> before Colorado<\/strong> as the normal is that Colorado<\/strong> is about 20 to 30 cents higher\u2026 checked our GasBuddy app and found that the Dillions had gas<\/strong> for $2.02?  everyone else was $2.25\u2026 humm   so ran down to Dillions and put in my King Sooper code and got another 2 cent discount\u2026 Came out ok on that\u2026 <\/p>\n

We got into Colorado<\/strong> Springs at about 4:30pm (Mtn = 5:30 Central).  Got things unloaded and I was wore out\u2026 had aches and pains in abundance all over\u2026 <\/p>\n

He does smile a lot<\/strong> but right here he was just focused on the camera light.<\/p>\n

Grandma had a little Grandson time\u2026 <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat ya say Grandma?\u201d<\/p>\n

I said hi, sat down for a bit then figured I better get my shower in and hopefully feel a bit better\u2026 so ended the trip<\/strong> out\u2026 and we ordered pizza for dinner and I had a drink or two and then hustled off to bed\u2026 <\/p>\n

Today I felt some better, but didn\u2019t get around too much\u2026 as normal got up and went out and got breakfast<\/strong> as I don\u2019t cook out here not knowing what is hear to fix\u2026  The day<\/strong> was pretty much a set<\/strong> with Grandson and make sure he was ok, which , he is really pretty good\u2026 lets you know when he needs something but normally is pretty quiet,  He does entertain himself a lot..<\/p>\n

On one<\/strong> of my trips out to get supplies for dinner\u2026 spotted this? <\/p>\n

Now that is extravagant or silly or both? <\/p>\n

Spent some time listening to the cowboys BB game (on Tune-in) and boy were they stinking it up\u2026 after 3 big games what gives with such poor playing? They gained so much in the three wins and it appears they gave about half that away with this loss..<\/p>\n
