Well it is working<\/strong> again but as with all things here – not smooth. \u00a0last<\/strong> night I got home and immediately went out and found that several of the remote units have weak batteries. \u00a0 How can they all go bad at once?<\/p>\n

I got it to pick up most of the sensors by doing several resets of the control unit, also had to do some reset in the software but it came up working<\/strong>. \u00a0 This this morning I got back on it again and got all the units filled with new batteries and did some adjustments as it had lost the monthly rain, lost the calibration for the pressure, one<\/strong> thing lead to another and I would get one<\/strong> unit<\/strong> fixed and back on and lose another one<\/strong>. \u00a0Notice this afternoon that both outside sensors show them to be 5 to 10 degrees hotter than actual (by weather station at airport). \u00a0I guess<\/strong> I need<\/strong> to move the outside sensor to a better spot but getting it so that the sun can hit<\/strong> the solar<\/strong> charging for it, although it still has to have two regular batteries in it as well.<\/p>\n

I moved the remote unit<\/strong> 1 to a spot on the north side of the house. \u00a0That will be much closer to accurate “shaded” site for the future. \u00a0still some strange stuff going<\/strong> on as the inside console will not pick up external unit<\/strong> 1 and they are only 30 ft apart? \u00a0tried several times and still will not pick up? \u00a0Looks like a series of things need<\/strong> to be checked and done to get it back in operations but I am sure from now on I need<\/strong> to change the batteries in the sensor units – outside temp\/humidity and channel 1 about ever 6 months. \u00a0 But at least now, Knock knock on my wooden head, it is working<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
