{"id":2544,"date":"2010-09-23T10:17:10","date_gmt":"2010-09-23T16:17:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/?p=2544"},"modified":"2010-09-23T10:17:10","modified_gmt":"2010-09-23T16:17:10","slug":"weather-station-down","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ishmaels.net\/blog\/2010\/09\/23\/weather-station-down\/","title":{"rendered":"Weather Station &#8211; DOWN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It appears the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ambientweather.com\/wmorscwiprwe.html\">weather station<\/a> has taken a mind to just quit. \u00a0seems the remote units are sending but the <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>control<\/strong> <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>center<\/strong> is not receiving or not sending to the computer? \u00a0 \u00a0I hope to find a temp cure for this by next Wed when I can get at it and <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>check<\/strong> out all the links. \u00a0 Sure hope it is something simple like the <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>USB<\/strong> <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>link<\/strong> is not talking (although that may not be simple but usually all you really <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>need<\/strong> to do is unplug and delete the old <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>USB<\/strong> <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>link<\/strong> then plug back in and have it redo the link), or the software has locked up that lets it send the updates to the <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>internet<\/strong> (Wundergound) and to the APRS.<\/p>\n<p>If it is the <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>control<\/strong> unit has died, I have a spare that I should be able to swap out.<\/p>\n<p>Just takes time to get it all back where it needs to be.<\/p>\n<p>WD0AJG<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It appears the weather station has taken a mind to just quit. seems the remote units are sending but the control center is not receiving or not sending to the computer?
