{"id":18942,"date":"2015-01-23T23:13:00","date_gmt":"2015-01-24T05:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ishmaels.net\/blog\/?p=18942"},"modified":"2015-01-23T23:13:00","modified_gmt":"2015-01-24T05:13:00","slug":"random-thoughts-as-we-age","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ishmaels.net\/blog\/2015\/01\/23\/random-thoughts-as-we-age\/","title":{"rendered":"Random thoughts as we age &#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I got this from a friend?&#160; I think\u2026 anyway it is way too good to pass up and so I am stealing it for my posts so that some day I can remember what he told me\u2026 thanks David..<\/p>\n<p>&#160;<\/p>\n<p>&#160;<\/p>\n<p><b><i><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i><\/i><\/b>The biggest lie I tell myself is &#8230;&quot;I don&#8217;t <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>need<\/strong> to write that down, I&#8217;ll remember it.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Wouldn&#8217;t it be great if we could put ourselves in the dryer for tenminutes; come out wrinkle-free and three sizes smaller!<\/p>\n<p>Last <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>year<\/strong> I joined a support group for procrastinators.&#160; We haven&#8217;t met yet!<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t trip over things, I do random gravity checks!<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>need<\/strong> anger management. I <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>need<\/strong> <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>people<\/strong> to stop pissing me off!<\/p>\n<p>Old age is coming at a really bad time!<\/p>\n<p>Lord grant me the strength to accept the things I cannot change, thecourage to <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>change<\/strong> the things I can and the <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>friends<\/strong> to post my bail when I finally snap!<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t have white&#160; hair. I have &quot;<strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>wisdom<\/strong> highlights&quot;. I&#8217;m just very wise.<\/p>\n<p>My <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>people<\/strong> skills are just fine. It&#8217;s my tolerance to idiots that needswork.<\/p>\n<p>If God wanted me to touch my toes, he would&#8217;ve put them on my knees.<\/p>\n<p>The kids <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>text<\/strong> me &quot;plz&quot; which is shorter than please. I <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>text<\/strong> back &quot;no&quot;which is shorter than &quot;yes&quot; .<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m going to retire and live off of my savings. Not sure what I&#8217;ll do that second week.<\/p>\n<p>When did it <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>change<\/strong> from &quot;We the people&quot; to &quot;screw the people&quot; ?<\/p>\n<p>Even duct tape can&#8217;t fix stupid &#8230; but it can muffle the sound!<\/p>\n<p>Why do I have to press <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>one<\/strong> for English when you&#8217;re just gonna transfer me to someone I can&#8217;t understand anyway?<\/p>\n<p>Of <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>course<\/strong> I talk to myself, sometimes I <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>need<\/strong> expert advice.<\/p>\n<p>Oops!
