Tis the day<\/strong> after Christmas and we are all\u2026 STUFFED\u2026 at least I am.\u00a0 But that doesn\u2019t stop people from wanting to go eat\u2026<\/p>\n

The morning went slow, I spent time<\/strong> checking out some things I need\u2026 broke the UV filter on my camera<\/strong> again\u2026 that is 3 times\u2026 2 for me and 1 for wife \u2026 in\u00a0 a year but they are only $9 each and so far they seem to protect the camera<\/strong> lens some\u2026 so I will need<\/strong> to order a couple more\u2026 I have a spare but it is at home<\/strong> so have to be careful till I get home\u2026 I may need<\/strong> to carry the spare?\u00a0 think?<\/p>\n

At noon those of us not working (Sean had to go to work) decided that we needed lunch and would go out\u2026 same old discussion\u2026 \u201cWhere do you want to go\u201d ,\u201d I don\u2019t know\u201d, \u201c I don\u2019t care\u201d\u00a0 so it took several blocks down the road to determine we needed to go to \u201cIN-n-OUT\u201d burger.<\/p>\n

Now in my opinion it is not that great a burger\u2026 I do remember going to them in California back in the early 90\u2019s when that was about the only place<\/strong> you could find one.\u00a0 Today they are branching out all over.\u00a0 I seem to remember that the burger was bigger, and had more flavor and the fries were better?\u00a0 but oh well, everyone things this is the greatest or maybe it is the idea of it\u2026?\u00a0 The name sells\u2026 I even have T-shirts from the old originals I went to, that are almost wore out, and sure like the shirts so maybe it is my having worn those T-shirts around all the time<\/strong> that advertised it so well?\u00a0 Think?\u00a0 probably not.<\/p>\n

Well we got there just after 12 noon and the place<\/strong> was packed like normal\u2026 coming in waves\u2026 no place<\/strong> to set\u2026 have to scramble for a spot\u2026 but we got in, eat, and got out with out being run over\u2026<\/p>\n

The afternoon was spent reading<\/strong> and watching the brisket cook\u2026yea that is a horrible job, but someone had to \u2026 The smoker went out once and I had to restart it but it came out ok\u2026 after cooking<\/strong> all day\u2026 Then Sean got home<\/strong> and fixed much of it into \u201cburnt ends\u201d \u2026<\/p>\n

With some salad and rice\u2026 good stuff\u2026\u00a0\u00a0 That was the day\u2026 ended with\u00a0 a bit<\/strong> more study, reading, posting, and other things\u2026 so that was \u201cboxing day\u201d\u2026<\/a><\/p>\n

I did do some looking at the maps and weather predictions\u2026 damn it is cold up north\u2026 predicting snow, real cold and all that stuff for Colorado Springs\u2026 but I was looking for next week and it is supposed to be balmy then\u2026 in the 30\u2019s\u2026 better get the heavy coats and long-johns out\u2026<\/p>\n
