This might be a good idea , but I have not clue where to find one<\/strong> here in the middle of nowhere? I think the best alternative is joining in on some of the investment groups offered by the Motley Fool <\/a>or by tracking some of the investor<\/strong> comments on Stocktwits<\/a>. Some of the groups of the Motley Fool are just like investment clubs , full of ideas and help when you ask for it in the proper manner. – WD0AJG<\/p>\n

Whether you’re a novice investor<\/strong> or an experienced stock<\/strong> picker an investment club may be beneficial to growing your investment portfolio<\/strong>. This article explains what an investment club is, why you should have an investment program and finally why you should join an investment club.<\/p>\n

An investment club is nothing more then a group of individuals that all share the same common bond of wanting to profit<\/strong> from the stock<\/strong> market<\/strong> while at the same time continuing to educate themselves on investing techniques. An important feature of an investment club is that the members are there to have fun<\/strong> as they invest their money and learn about the stock<\/strong> market<\/strong>. Making a profit<\/strong> isn’t the only goal of the club and members are encouraged to have fun<\/strong> as they invest their money.<\/p>\n

There are several reasons why someone would want to start an investment club and invest in the stock<\/strong> market<\/strong>. Some of the more common reasons follow:<\/p>\n

Your opportunity to make a profit<\/strong> and see better results from your investments is greater then from a regular savings account. You have the ability to move your money around from one<\/strong> stock<\/strong> to the next allowing your money to be more liquid. You don’t want to do this on a continuous basis but it does allow you more control over where your money goes, what you do with it, and how much of it you want to invest into the stock<\/strong> market<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The gains you realize from a profitable investment portfolio<\/strong> are greater then from a regular savings account. This increases your chance of obtaining your financial goals and dreams faster. The added diversification of investing in many different stocks allows for a bigger degree of safety them other types of investments.<\/p>\n

You’ll become much more knowledgeable about the investing and business environment. When you invest in the stock<\/strong> market<\/strong> you’re taking your finances into your own control. You’re not counting on the government for your future financial requirements.<\/p>\n

There are many reasons why someone should join an investment club. The obvious ones include having the opportunity to play the stock<\/strong> market<\/strong> in a safe environment that is low risk and learning more about investing.<\/p>\n

Other compelling reasons include the confidence you develop by learning about the wonderful world of investing with a group of like-minded individuals. If you’ve always wanted to invest in the stock<\/strong> market<\/strong> but been reluctant to lose large sums of money because you don’t know what you’re doing, then an investment club is great for you since you can be part of a large investment team. An investment club allows you to participate in the stock<\/strong> market<\/strong> with a smaller dollar amount, sometimes as low as $25 a month.<\/p>\n

The education that comes with being part of an investment club is priceless. If you’ve always wanted to learn more about investing in the stock<\/strong> market, but you keep putting your interest aside, an investment club is a great way to inspire you to attend meetings and learn more about how to invest. There is also the social aspect of an investment club that allows for a fun<\/strong> filled learning atmosphere and inspires you to become a better investor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
