Well, we are visiting grandson<\/strong> #3\u2026 he is a bit<\/strong> young to appreciate that Grandma is here to hold and set<\/strong> with\u2026 but she is here<\/p>\n

Happy now he just got fed\u2026<\/p>\n

Grandma doing her most favorite things\u2026 holding grandsons, reclined back, checking Facebook\u2026 she had just put down the knitting so she could hold the little one\u2026 so she must be really Happy\u2026 and she is wearing the t-shirt to prove it\u2026 <\/p>\n

Friday I picked up a rent cargo trailer<\/strong> to haul some more of the kids stuff to them\u2026 the sooner and more I get that stuff out the less I have to deal with\u2026 so I hauled up some furniture and a lot<\/strong> of storage stuff they had \u201cforgotten\u201d they had stored in my barn\u2026 I think I am about to get down to only a very little bit<\/strong> of stuff left that belongs to them\u2026 oh wait we still have some damn big stuff that they will have to come pick up\u2026 I don\u2019t move pianos and wall units and they say they don\u2019t have room for it right now\u2026 <\/p>\n

I got that trailer<\/strong> loaded, and we headed out Saturday morning<\/strong> pretty early\u2026 I was feeling really good about the towing the trailer<\/strong> as we sailed up I-35 and my mileage was running about 16.5 towing\u2026 way better than I figured\u2026 and on the way north we were passed (yea I was going a decent speed pulling that trailer)\u2026 by this guy\u2026<\/p>\n

I think he is a Cowboy fan #okstate\u2026. I am sure I have seen that truck before somewhere\u2026 sure was shinny and polished up\u2026 <\/p>\n

We stopped for gas in Salina and I was checking my mileage and was really pleased\u2026 I had not noticed we had a good tail wind..?  <\/p>\n

We turned west and threat tail became a angle head\/cross wind and boy it made a mess of my mileage\u2026 had to fill up two more times before I got to the springs\u2026 and final mileage pulling that trailer<\/strong> loaded\u2026 was about 14.5 mpg\u2026 not real bad but sure not good?  oh and I noticed well before I started the tow that the jeep has developed a drip oil leak somewhere\u2026 not sure where either?  started that maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago\u2026 I am watching it and when I get home it goes to the shop so they can put a stop to that mess\u2026 new vehicles shouldn\u2019t have those problems\u2026 not too happy about it either\u2026 <\/p>\n

When we got in it was decently early so we got the trailer<\/strong> unloaded and I even got it returned to the rental outfit before they closed up here\u2026 felt good to get that done\u2026 After we got all that taken care of it was time for dinner<\/strong> and DIL wanted to go to Chili\u2019s for dinner\u2026 so we ran down there and had dinner\u2026 it was good but I am not as big an eater as I used to be\u2026 I guess? <\/p>\n

This was the left over for the take-home box?  I did eat about half as there was also a taco with this meal\u2026 maybe I stuff too many of those chips in before the meal? hate when that happens\u2026but now we have another meal to eat at some point? <\/p>\n

It was nice and sunny yesterday and nice this morning<\/strong> but the clouds<\/strong> were moving and we are to get some weather around for the next couple of days\u2026 and it will get cooler\u2026 so may even have to revert to long pants and shoes?  what a horrible thought?  <\/p>\n

When I was headed back this afternoon from one<\/strong> of my outings I made a trip around a few of the blocks here\u2026 just around from the kids house this guy<\/strong> has 2 old mustangs\u2026 one<\/strong> he must race as it had the numbers and time on the side window\u2026 <\/p>\n

Gee it would just be nice to have one<\/strong> but he has two\u2026 good looking too\u2026 oh well\u2026 <\/p>\n

That about catches things up as we set<\/strong> here and watch grandson<\/strong> #3 sleep\u2026 he does a lot<\/strong> of that since he is just 3 weeks old\u2026 <\/p>\n
