As I pulled pictures I found that I Had not posted in awhile about what I have been up to\u2026 <\/p>\n

Saturday we made the Crap (Craft) fair\u2026 they have a pretty nice fair here and lost of stuff to look at\u2026 odd stuff and unique stuff..<\/p>\n

Now there were a lot of times I needed those , back when\u2026 <\/p>\n

interesting sign\u2026  I generally agree with that statement<\/p>\n

Sunday we didn\u2019t do much of anything\u2026 Monday I got back on the deck oiling and again Tuesday\u2026 finally got it all done\u2026 I don\u2019t work too fast anymore\u2026No need<\/strong> to be in a hurry.<\/p>\n

But it is a damn big deck\u2026 and I like it that way\u2026 big roof overhang, wide space, can set back here from early morning till mid afternoon with out being in the sun\u2026 even then the very north end is shaded by a huge Oak tree<\/strong> for all but about 2 hours of the afternoon and even then it is not direct sun<\/strong> on the north 30 feet in the summer.  but do need<\/strong> a fan when the sun<\/strong> comes on over\u2026 other wise it is usually about 20 degrees cooler during the main part of the day and at least 10 degrees cooler the rest of the day\u2026. good up draft\u2026 I do like my deck\u2026<\/p>\n

You can see by the sun<\/strong> screens that the north 30 feet didn\u2019t need<\/strong> the screens due to the big tree\u2026 just gets some sun<\/strong> then gests shaded by the tree\u2026 oh the sun<\/strong> screens?  they are home<\/strong> made as well\u2026 Lowes sold some screen material and I bought some plastic pipe and made the frames then we sewed the screen material on to them\u2026 pull them back up for winter\u2026 do need<\/strong> to put some weights on them for summer to keep them from flapping too hard but they don\u2019t move as much as one<\/strong> would think\u2026 <\/p>\n

Today I went to the farm after my walk\u2026 as Sherrie had a lunch function\u2026 so a drive to Barr, OK\u2026 yea look that one<\/strong> up\u2026<\/p>\n

Drove around and got some pictures of the farm there that I had not been back in on for some time\u2026 this picture is of the bottom of the old pond\u2026 it used to have a huge pond here \u2026 all those trees are new and would be almost covered up in the old pond\u2026 that pond backed up into the neighbors place and I found some old paperwork in the farm papers that Grandpa had to get an easement from the neighbor for that pond\u2026 but maybe 20 years ago the dam washed out and the pond is no more but sure had a good stand of grass in the bottom now\u2026 Way back it was spring fed about a mile west of here\u2026 but I think that is dried up as well\u2026 there wasn\u2019t any water in the channel\u2026 <\/p>\n

When I finished up the farm tour I went by an old friends business on the highway into town\u2026 last time<\/strong> I saw him was at Dad\u2019s funeral and maybe 15 years before that\u2026 I should be better at keeping up with old friends and people I grew up with\u2026 We visited for along time\u2026 not as long as we could have but several hours worth\u2026 I think I kept him from working\u2026?  I left there and went on in to Enid and had a short lunch and then visited Mom and Dad\u2019s graves\u2026 sure miss them\u2026 hard to think it has been 2 years since Dad<\/strong> passed and well over 13 years since Mom has been gone\u2026 <\/p>\n

On my way out of Enid I saw this sign<\/strong> and figured I should get a picture\u2026 kind of a southern term I think?  then I noticed the employees car behind the sign\u2026 what is that sticking out of the hood? <\/p>\n

Must be one<\/strong> of those Go Fast options?  seems it was a bit<\/strong> too big for the hood?  so they just cut a hole out? still not sure what it was ? but way bigger than was originally on there\u2026<\/p>\n

The drive home<\/strong> was the same I had taken so many times in the recent years\u2026 Got home<\/strong> and let the dogs out and rested up a bit, read the paper then it was Supper time<\/strong> so I started the stuff and Sherrie made a omelet for supper\u2026 <\/p>\n

Then she skyped with our son as it is his birthday\u2026 a week after his son was born\u2026 pretty close there\u2026 guess they will just have to celebrate together most years from now on\u2026 I caught a little of it as she was wanting baby pictures so she got to see the grandson a bit<\/strong> on Skype\u2026 We should be out there in a little over a week\u2026 so Grandma can have some personal time\u2026 oh and the other one<\/strong> that is just over 9 months old\u2026 is giving his mom heart problems\u2026<\/p>\n

\"Luke-climbing\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Your supposed to be moving things up when they start to walk but how high do you go when they figure to climb as soon as they can walk? That kid will need<\/strong> a safety harness and bungee cord on him from now on\u2026 or some fancy mittens so he can\u2019t grab to climb? <\/p>\n
