Was a slow day<\/strong> today\u2026 I spent much of the morning working paperwork<\/strong> for various things\u2026 went to town just before noon, had a letter that needed to be mailed and tracked\u2026 got that done and picked up some sandwiches for lunch\u2026 wife was home<\/strong> with bad headache today\u2026 Got those home<\/strong> and then spent the afternoon piddling with more paperwork<\/strong> and various things\u2026 <\/p>\n

Well they tracked us down\u2026 the NTTA<\/strong> (North Texas Turnpike Authority) tracked us down for using the toll way back in May and Nov of 2013 and sent us a bill for those\u2026 a bit late in my books but hey, if they send a bill then the next time<\/strong> they can stop us for something and we are law breakers?  so guess<\/strong> I will have to pay that $5.52\u2026 how they have such odd charges? anyway at some point<\/strong> the Oklahoma toll tag is supposed to be good for the NTTA\u2026 I understand it is good for the Kansas pikes now or maybe the Frist of Sept? guess<\/strong> I might find out at some  point\u2026 <\/p>\n

We were exciting for dinner<\/strong> tonight as I had a coupon of BOGO at Sonic so we went there for dinner<\/strong> and picked up a couple<\/strong> of Burgers and a couple<\/strong> $0.50 corndogs\u2026 I had not paid much attention to the pickup that parked next to us but when we backed out\u2026<\/p>\n

Notice the cap on the top of the pickup\u2026 I think it was for a pickup but ? delivery? maybe?  I think the corndogs were cheaper than the pizza? <\/p>\n

Also, earlier this week I caught this..<\/p>\n

Indicates it is close to dove season\u2026 when they start collecting and flying in groups they are ready to move on and that means season<\/strong> opens soon\u2026 I used to hunt them but haven’t in a really long time\u2026 <\/p>\n
