{"id":17028,"date":"2009-11-09T18:22:00","date_gmt":"2009-11-09T18:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/box5128.temp.domains\/~ishmaels\/blog3\/?p=17028"},"modified":"2018-11-11T18:24:36","modified_gmt":"2018-11-11T18:24:36","slug":"a-little-this-and-little-that","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ishmaels.net\/blog\/2009\/11\/09\/a-little-this-and-little-that\/","title":{"rendered":"A little this and little that&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well almost every other <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">day<\/strong> I have made a trip to help Dad&#8230; He seems to be getting better?&nbsp; In between I have been doing my own Dr visits&#8230;, I am still ok and getting along but have more problems every <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">day<\/strong> &#8211; minor to those of others so I feel lucky most days&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday made it to the Enid Ham Fest&#8230; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.enidhamfest.com\/\">great little gathering. <\/a>I enjoyed it a lot as I got to see several old friends that I have not seen in years&#8230; old friend from <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">Booker Tx<\/strong> that now lives in Shawnee, along with multiple others that I know to some extent.<\/p>\n<p>Of course I had to buy something&#8230; got some connectors for coax and a short piece of 1\/2 inch hard <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">line<\/strong> for <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">one<\/strong> of my antennas&#8230; probably use it on a beam it will cover 50 through 1200 mhz &#8211;&nbsp; no big <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">HF<\/strong> things like I used to have&#8230; will do my <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">HF<\/strong> by wire&#8230; or maybe vertical?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/box5128.temp.domains\/~ishmaels\/blog3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/T28_wc4x_small.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"T28_wc4x_small\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"T28_wc4x_small\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/box5128.temp.domains\/~ishmaels\/blog3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/T28_wc4x_small_thumb.jpg?resize=467%2C282\" width=\"467\" height=\"282\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I am looking at purchase&#8230;later ofter the <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">tower<\/strong> goes up&#8230;&nbsp; &#8211; remember the post on the tower?&nbsp; a pipe job that lays down to do all work on the ground&#8230; anyway I got some good feed <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">line<\/strong> and now have several other small things to get <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">set<\/strong> up &#8211; feed thru to the shop from outside for the feed lines&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Other than that, I have not accomplished much since I got home&#8230; but the shop is taking shape and not too bad most of the time&#8230; am sure ti will need some heat next <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">time<\/strong> <strong class=\"StrictlyAutoTagBold\">home<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Oh well<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well almost every other day I have made a trip to help Dad&#8230; He seems to be getting better?&nbsp; In between I have been doing my own Dr visits&#8230;, I am still ok and getting along but have more problems every day &#8211; minor to those of others so I feel lucky most days&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday made it to the Enid Ham Fest&#8230; great little gathering.
