It was a lazy day<\/strong> today\u2026 I got up late \u2013 about 7am\u2026 the rest of the family<\/strong> made it out from 10 to 11\u2026 so I spent a lot<\/strong> of time<\/strong> on the back deck<\/strong> as it was a nice cool morning on the west side of the house.  Did some reading<\/strong> and checking on things I need<\/strong> to get done, next time<\/strong> I get home?<\/p>\n

We went to the local diner (Shortcakes) and had lunch, rather I had lunch they all had breakfast.  No big plans for the rest of the day<\/strong> either\u2026 more reading, setting on the back deck<\/strong> and??? Other small things\u2026<\/p>\n

I did a lot<\/strong> of reading<\/strong> on my hobby \u2013 amateur radio \u2013 I get a kick to get back into it some so I am doing some reading<\/strong> on some of the new trends in APRS and such\u2026<\/p>\n

I did spend a lot<\/strong> of time<\/strong> watching the hummingbirds fight of the feeder\u2026 territorial little things\u2026 was fun to see them stand each other off, occasionally they would share the feeder<\/strong> but not often and sometimes they did a lot<\/strong> more chasing than drinking?<\/p>\n

The kids left at 4:30 or so to get back to Dallas, and I made my trip<\/strong> to the store to get supplies for my pending  trip<\/strong> back to work\u2026 when your that far away you have to take most of what you need<\/strong> with you, cause you are not going to find that stuff in the desert!…   I then called my Dad to get caught up on his day\u2026 at his age he mostly watches TV now\u2026 but he does a lot<\/strong> of talking to the rest of the family<\/strong> so I can catch up on that through him.<\/p>\n

I know I need<\/strong> to get more pictures up on this thing, which would help with some of my descriptions\u2026 I promise to make a better effort for that.  Take a few more pictures and get them posted in this.<\/p>\n

This is all a learning process, as I learn how to put in links and how to write \u2013 I am not too good at that but maybe someday?<\/p>\n
