The new dog <\/p>\n

have reached a mutual understanding\u2026 \u201cWe both live here so we are going<\/strong> to agree to be in the same room\u201d\u2026 but the cat makes it clear when the dog has been close enough or she has had all the dog she wants\u2026 so far\u2026. no bloody nose or big fight\u2026 but the warning (from the cat) pops up every so often.  Just not as strongly visual as before.<\/p>\n

In further reference to the New Dog\u2026 he is that \u201cBull in a China Shop\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n

Nearly everything he does is on the run and mostly over stuff, through stuff and into stuff\u2026 sometimes me\u2026today I went out the shop for a screwdriver and they dogs followed\u2026 I got the tool I needed and did my usual whistle to make<\/strong> sure they followed\u2026 they did but the black dog was a bit slow getting out?  and upon coming out the door<\/strong> ran right<\/strong> into my leg and we almost were on the ground over that\u2026 not sure what he was thinking but it couldn\u2019t have been the right<\/strong> stuff\u2026 in other situations\u2026 I offer to take them outside\u2026 he has to jump over furniture and bang into the door, or several doors before he gets it lined out\u2026 On coming back in he doesn\u2019t go for the first step but may try for the third and usually stumbles his way on up\u2026 signaling to go in\u2026 same thing<\/strong> will bound into the door<\/strong> before it is open\u2026 although he does get his paws up most of the time\u2026 if he wants to see out the back windows\u2026 where we have a couch in front , he is up on the couch and nose into the window and splattering stuff on the window sill\u2026 just not a graceful dog..<\/p>\n

The afternoon<\/strong> was spent trying to not get wet\u2026 the rain<\/strong> set in just after lunch and stayed\u2026 off and on all afternoon<\/strong> and evening\u2026 slow gentle to sometimes pretty hard rain<\/strong> but straight down very little wind\u2026 and a temp of 64 at 4:30 pm and going<\/strong> down\u2026 more like a mountain shower and temps than Oklahoma in July? <\/p>\n

Tonight I cooked dinner \u2013 fried squash from out garden, grilled a single burger patty\u2026 and some of the sweet corn from Saturday\u2026 I know we should have some green stuff but hey\u2026 you get what I fix , when I fix it\u2026 might do Green Chili tomorrow\u2026<\/p>\n

I also made a few radio<\/strong> contacts and finally got a confirmation of my last state for 17 meters\u2026 that is 4 of 9 bands completed in my quest for 9 Band WAS\u2026 was a real quiet night on the radio\u2026 most of the bands were pretty quiet and not much activity\u2026 I can\u2019t say they were dead as I made contacts on 80 and 17 with no big problems<\/strong> but seems everyone is out or off or maybe it was just working here? <\/p>\n
