Well my focus this weekend was to get something<\/strong> done\u2026 but other stuff got in the way\u2026 <\/p>\n

I got up early (not too early but same old time<\/strong> for me) and got out to do a few little things\u2026 had a little juice and then worked on some radio<\/strong> stuff\u2026 went over some equipment plans and decided to get two big boxes of old stuff gone through and throw out as much as possible\u2026 so I started the filter through, finding that I had a lot of paper<\/strong> work from years ago when they put you SS number on everything so I am going to have to burn or shred that stuff\u2026 so the process was slower than I had figured.  making sure that the recycle bin didn\u2019t get anything with numbers,names or other stuff on it\u2026 just in case\u2026 I put in a little time<\/strong> on that and then moved on to something<\/strong> else\u2026 my focus changed\u2026 I can do that now that I am retired\u2026 <\/p>\n

We decided we needed to get out for a really late breakfast or early lunch?  so got things around and headed to town\u2026 while in town we had to stop by a \u201cDollar General\u201d store\u2026 this one<\/strong> is in a mall area that is pretty much defunct\u2026 only other stores are a furniture store<\/strong> and a Bargain store<\/strong> in a place that could hole 20 stores\u2026 Anyway the clientele at this store<\/strong> are \u2026.. well kind of like the east Walmart clientele\u2026 I waited outside while Sherrie checked on some stuff\u2026 <\/p>\n

Of all the cars coming and going\u2026 this one<\/strong> was in the best shape other than me\u2026 so far my jeep has no dings\u2026 I saw tattoo’s and stuff that , well\u2026 was afraid to take the pictures cause they could beat me up and that was the women\u2026 <\/p>\n

Well you would know that Sherrie found what she was looking for but then determined that she had a coupon to get another $5 off but didn\u2019t have it with her\u2026 damn\u2026 so we started to head home<\/strong> and then she figured she could look it up online on her phone so back we went and she used her coupon on her phone but there was a limit\u2026or something<\/strong> so I had to go in to get the rest of the stuff she wanted and then we had to get a coupon on my phone but we got the stuff and on the way out, what did I see????? <\/p>\n

DING-DONGS\u2026 one<\/strong> of my favorites that I though had been gone\u2026 you know the company sold out or sent broke and they quit making them for awhile but now\u2026 I know that DG has Ding-Dongs and I will have to make a run<\/strong> once a month when I get my well-fair check to get me some Ding Dongs\u2026 we got a box to bring home<\/strong> and I have yet to get in them\u2026 saving them for special\u2026 although Sherrie broke in to them already\u2026 <\/p>\n

Today I got up early again, Sherrie wasn\u2019t budging\u2026? later she told me that she had to get up at midnight to take care of the dogs and then couldn\u2019t get back to sleep\u2026 strange with the hearing aids out\u2026 I never noticed they were barking? Anyway I got up and had some juice and my saved back blueberry donut (not touching the ding-dongs yet)\u2026 oh yea, Saturday morning I made a run<\/strong> to the spud nut shop and got two Jalapeno sausage rolls and a blueberry donut\u2026 saved my donut for today\u2026, I went out and got the paper<\/strong> and set on the back deck having my donut, reading the paper\u2026 checking my plants on the deck\u2026 had to water some ad they don\u2019t get watered with the drip system\u2026 then I worked on the ground to my antennas as it was loose? <\/p>\n

About noon Sherrie asked if I was getting hungry\u2026? that means she was and I said, I had breakfast while she was asleep , well then she explained why she was sleeping in\u2026 oh!..<\/p>\n

So again we took off for lunch\u2026 we really should eat at home<\/strong> more but when neither one<\/strong> of us wants to cook?  you go get salads in town\u2026 Anyway after eating we decided to take a little drive\u2026 in the Sunday paper<\/strong> there had been an article about a Titik\u2019s Country Barn out NW of town<\/a>? Seems they have dances and run<\/strong> a B&B in the barn\u2026   so we took off to find that place\u2026<\/p>\n

The barn is in the top left where there are 3 red dots\u2026the rest is our trip log out and back\u2026 came in by the lake on some back roads\u2026 <\/p>\n

Went by the Fairview Cemetery\u2026 I wonder how many Fairviews there are?  As I am sure I have been by a dozen\u2026? just here in Oklahoma\u2026<\/p>\n

Out in that area there are quit a few stone buildings from the old days\u2026 this one<\/strong> was somewhat behind an old pump-jack\u2026 <\/p>\n

This old house was a stone house with several additions\u2026 has seen better days\u2026 and as far as I can see, no windows on the north side\u2026 <\/p>\n

We got home, I did some more Ham-Radio\u2026 and that was the day\u2026 I may have found one<\/strong> of my mistakes from working on the tower last week but not sure just yet\u2026 need some more testing to figure it out\u2026 seems it works worse now as a vertical than it did before?  oh well\u2026 <\/p>\n

I also spent more time<\/strong> sifting through the old junk in the box and came across some old paperwork I had forgotten\u2026 found the old manual for my Grandmother Philco radio<\/strong> I have in the basement\u2026. the manual is in a plastic bag but in pretty bad shape\u2026 crumbling up and all\u2026 oh well the radio<\/strong> is still ok and used to work but I have not plugged it in for several years\u2026 the tubes are getting hard to find\u2026 <\/p>\n
