Well, I must first give props to the service that comes from Byoinics on the new Tiny Tracker 4<\/a> I ordered. I ordered that Thursday night, he shipped it Friday and it came in today by US snail mail. I started trying to get it all up and running at about 3:30pm. I had some problems<\/strong> with setting the audio in\/out, although the instructions are adequate, I just couldn’t get it to hear or print anything. I could see that it was detecting audio signals<\/strong> but nothing was printing. I had reduced the RXAMP from 12 to 9 as that appears ok on the monitor<\/strong> with a 77 RX<\/strong> test<\/strong>. But that was still way to hot, I guess as after some further testing to see why it would not print, I lowered the RX<\/strong> to 7 and that was a 55 on the monitor<\/strong> and according to the literature that was at the bottom end of the receive but it started to work for me? the TX was pushed way on down to 35 from 128 and I got a bounce of a node 45 miles out so things are back up and working<\/strong> for now. I need to study a bit more on this to see why I had to be at the bottom end of both settings when one<\/strong> would think the middle would be sufficient and that what the documents say? Anyway we are working<\/strong> (7:30 PM) and thanks to Byon for quick shipping and a quick response to a query last night<\/strong> as I was reading up on the installation before the unit<\/strong> arrived.
\nThis was so good, I may have to get another one<\/strong> with the GPS receiver and actually use it as a tracker unit? Maybe? <\/p>\n
